I haven't followed Jack's life story at all, but every once in a while the YouTube algorithm would remind me of him with some astonishing culinary abomination of his. The "Garbage Stew", all the "Lazy Man" recipes, the raw chicken... I loved watching that shit.

There was a video in which he called the Food Network to pitch his own TV show and it really sucks that they didn't give him the time of day.

Imagine a show about his cooking on TLC, for example.

Unfortunately, even if he pulls through, his YouTube career is probably finished. After seeing how much health issues he's had, it's an easy conclusion to say he'll probably be bedridden for the majority of his remaining life.

I think Jack is one of the first lolcows I was ever aware of - even before I knew what a lolcow was. I remember coming across some of his old videos years ago and recoiled in horror at the monstrosities he created. It wasn't until I started reading the farms a few years ago that I learned more about him.

Honestly, I hope he gets better and maybe starts trying to be healthier, but based on past experience I don't think he will.

Using a Reba song for Jack seems touching, but ironic since I wonder how God would feel about people willingly making mukbang videos or in Jack’s case, seeing the light while stuffing himself with unhealthy food.
