I was originally going to just repost the archived video of a very holier than thou Chantal talking about Julie Terryberry and the evil keewee forums, but since the site is having issues at the moment I will instead quote a fantastically written post in the spoiler below that contains the video and a summary of the situation itself, which was written back when Chantal was sperging about Eugenia Cooney. For totallly empathic reasons guize!!

Chantal spontaneously resurrects the Eugenia Cooney debate for no discernible reason. For those who are knowledgeable in Chinnylore, or have stuck around here for long enough, you'll know that this stunt is not new: exploiting the stories and pain of the vulnerable/deceased for self-serving purposes.

I present to you the story of Julie Terryberry.

To put a long and depressing story short, Julie Terryberry was a severely mentally ill woman who was the topic of discussion on the Farms. Terryberry had a horrific upbringing and was victim to a neglectful family and a sexually and physically abusive boyfriend. The Farms cared more about Julie than anyone in her life did, on numerous occasions, concerned forum posters tipped off local law enforcement to perform wellness checks on the unstable and suicidal woman. Unfortunately, Terryberry committed suicide in June 2016.

About two years following Terryberry's death, coincidentally at the same time Chantal discovered her burgeoning KF thread, Chantal posts a rant video (archived below) bitching about the existence of Kiwi Farms and falsely accusing the forum of being the impetus for Terryberry's suicide. This video represents, in my opinion, the absolute worst of Chantal. No video or chimpout livestream can eclipse how loathsome Chantal acts in the Terryberry "tribute".

The video was very poorly received by her audience, prompting Chantal to delete it. It was abundantly clear that Chantal acted in bad faith and not in tribute to or out of concern of Julie. If you ever begin to feel sympathy for Chantal, remember the Julie Terryberry video.

TL;DR Chantal did not care about Julie Terryberry's death, nor does she care about Eugenia Cooney's failing health. The only person Chantal serves is Chantal.

Anyway... I'm sure that if this Laneta woman had critisized gunt's care of her cats, she'd be treating this the same way. Since she's such an empath and all that, yaknowwhatImean?
