It‘s interesting to watch Chantal desperately trying to feign appropriate emotional responses.

Following her own logic here, she (being the Star of Gorlworld - the toxic community that has just bullied an innocent woman to death) is indirectly responsible for the situation. I mean, she isn’t. If this person is indeed dead, she was very damaged before her recent and brief Internet problems. But going by Chantal’s version of events, this should be absolutely mortifying for her. A woman has just died in the process of defending her online. What even is the appropriate emotional response? I’m not entirely sure but I know it isn’t this.

She‘s just shown her enormous arse…again. Not only was she vain and arrogant enough to make this all about herself, she managed to make it startlingly clear that her only actual emotion is anger. She’s simply furious with the reactors. This latest twist with a suicide is great for her angle. “Look! These channels are such bullies!” At the moment I think the main cause of her pique is Milk Tea, but she has a problem. It’s difficult for her to frame this one as a bully when she so obviously doesn’t ‘bully’, not even in jest. All MT does is pick apart her stories. She never goes low. So right now, we need to be stressing the ’bullying’ nature of the community and deflect from the fact that our lies are being broadcast, don’t we?

I‘m going to hazard a guess that, in all her self-absorbed glory, Chantal is extremely pleased at the latest disingenuous “let’s all be kinder to each other on the Internet” type responses that have already been elicited. She could hardly even hide it with that self righteous response, scolding other people and neglecting any sense of remorse or sorrow.
