Sad. I hope the State of Arkansas takes Aiden away, but I know that's probably not going to happen (unless maybe it turns out that Kim's mom was popping pills or something that shows up on the autopsy). Hopefully her check - I assume she was drawing some sort of check - wasn't all that was keeping a roof over their heads, although IIRC Kim's dad actually works; considering what a shithole that place is, I don't imagine it costs them more than a few hundred a month.

Well shit, RIP I suppose. Not that it's at all surprising, she's looked to be on death's door for quite a while now. Love the immediate Gofundme thrown up to beg for scraps and Dalton giving Kim her "medicine" that will incapacitate her for the night ... Well, to be honest, I don't begrudge anyone popping a benzo immediately after a death in the family. If there's ever a time, that one is understandable. That said, Kim usually gives off the creepy impression that she could not give a single fuck about anyone beyond using and abusing them as tools to fulfill her ultimate goal of attention (and money). Setting up a Gofundme as soon as her mom was pronounced dead is pretty fucking crass, Kim is probably just pissed she lost her free babysitter to do the hands-on stuff with Aiden. Didn't Kim start trying to shove Aiden off onto his father long-term last time her mom was very ill? Kim seems uninterested in him except when her medical neglect gets him sick enough for a hospital photo op. Now that kid's entire support system is basically Dalton, which is fucked up. Good lord. I have a feeling the state will just shit themselves and do nothing, but truthfully, it's probably too late.
