QUICK
AND
SPEEDY
TRIAL

What Chris did was fucking horrendous but it has been how god damn long? If the State hasn't got their fucking case prepared after years then they need to just fucking declare him insane or free him.
I suspect Heilberg and everybody in the prosecutor's office would like to make this case go away by Chris taking a plea and moving to a tard home. Getting Chris to take a plea may be difficult, and finding a tard home for a guy who raped his 80-year-old mother is likely even harder.

Most tard homes these days take only two kinds of people. Mentally slow in the minds so developmentally disabled all they do is grunt, drool, and giggle while saying meeee! mme memm mmmeee! all day. Or slow in the minds with the right connections and family to pay for their long term stays. (think the kennedys shuffling their black sheep retard kids into homes then disowning them to avoid the shame of giving birth to tard babies.) Chris is neither of these cases. He's a moron who had sex with his elderly mother because he was tired of being near 40 and completely sexless.

Chris could've been done with this stupidity in December 2021 or earlier if he just pled guilty and served his time. As the monkey above me put it, he waived his right to a speedy trial through stupidly trying to fight a nigh-unwinnable case.
So ironically, Chris is taking the Barb route just like the Snyder hit an run trial. The only difference is Chris got a highly regarded attorney without mortgaging his house.

It could be that whatever deal he was offered still would result in him being supervised for the rest of his life, i.e. not going back to the Temple, and so he still clings on to the desperate hope that he can go back home even after serving his sentence.

This is definitely the case. You have the right to a speedy trial, but you actually have to insist on it. If you instead file your own incessant delaying motions, that's on you.
Lol, this is not being extended without the court's agreement at this point (and at the starting point). Whatever is going on, it's with everyone's agreement. No one wants a trial; that much is clear.

Will they eventually have one? Depends on how well they continue to agree and on Chris's state (of mind and behavior). But to date, this is all a modified diversion situation.

Fair point. They're just not very entertaining consequences, I suppose.
The judge is not going to declare him a menace to society and have him dragged away to a men’s prison where he will be forced to live in genpop.

Losing 14blc and his caretakers (including Null because he had a feasible plan for Chris) plus getting banned from conventions will be a punishment he can feel. Especially if all his stuff was thrown away. He’s gonna suffer for his actions. He won’t realize “Damn, I brought this upon myself” because he’s too stupid and egotistical, but he will suffer all the same.

I miss the jail letters. At least they were entertaining sometimes. There's little more that can come from Chris at this point since he clearly has lost the means to communicate with the outside world, nor has any movement been visibly made on his case for many months now.

I still think everything he has gone through in the jail saga would have forever changed him in some ways and most likely none of them good. Not sure when or what kind of post jail saga we'll get but if he returns to the spotlight and the consequences of purgatory are for us to all see I have a feeling it would be like watching Terry Davis lose it big time near the end of his life with Chris also obsessing over everything he lost as you say.

It seems heilburg has convinced Chris himself to stop responding to jail letters. Why is beyond me though. Despite what the cwcki said there's little to no chance these letters will be used against Chris in court. Maybe heilburg had to read and approve of all copies of Chris's outgoing mail and that was too much for him. He's already saddeled with defending this mother fucker, he doesn't want to have to be his correspondent too.

As optimistic as it is to consider. I personally want to believe after almost two years and with all the medication and isolation he's gone through Chris is willing to take a plea deal even if it means an admission of guilt would bruise his ego.

Chris may be monumentally stupid but that also means he's easy to break. Just a day without his creature comforts and enablers was enough to piss him, now it's been almost two years. And assuming that redditor account of visiting him in jail is true, Chris sounds so broken and battered by the systems treatment of him that he'll confess to being the guy who actually shot Jphn Lennon and not mark David Chapman despite it happening two years before he was even born.

The way I look at it even if Heilburg knows these letters won't do much it's just too much risk letting a client with charges held against them of any kind open their mouth, like how practically everyone who has a lawsuit against them is always told to say nothing to the public. For Chris's case Heilberg has cited that he wants the case completely shut so that a jury can be fairly selected, if Chris is sending a few letters every month something could slip that brings some amount of the internal details public no matter how small, I think no lawyer wants to risk that in any case.

Not to mention he is so suggestible that without the guard dogs who knows what else he would have been convinced into doing or believing. It would be interesting to know what combination of convincing and breaking led Chris to where he is but if we ever hear it from Chris it probably wouldn't be too reliable.

I've given up all hope that we're ever going to see Chris sentenced, or see him move anywhere else beyond this state of legal purgatory hell he's stuck in. Can we just admit his Teflon Tard status has protected him from consequences yet again and move on? :(
Imprisoned for years without trial is not a slap on the wrist. For a normal person this would usually be life-destroying. Any normal person would take about a minute to think things over and then immediately hang himself if faced with being Chris.

Chris is Teflon only because he's too stupid to realize how bad his situation is, has no ambition for anything more, is delusional enough to cope and has absolutely no shame. He doesn't even care enough about other people to be hurt by rejection.

Physical pain, exposure to the elements and hunger are the only punishments that would get through to him, so he's going to stay Teflon until he starts living on the streets.

A feat that will be next to impossible to accomplish. All of Greene County nay the commonwealth of Virginia itself hates Chris to the core. The court really doesn't want this case to go to trial since they can't find an impartial jury.

He may even experienced the first given the jail interview (if true) mentions a black eye and Chris must have learned by now to never squeal about what the other inmates do even in jail. The second he was this close to experiencing back when the case first broke and he almost slept in his van. (Until he stole hotel fare from barb) the last one....he hasn't quite experienced since in jail all his meals are given to him through his cell bars and it's not eaten in a cafeteria setting like prison. He's given 3 squares a day no more no less with commissary to supplement it. I belive Chris's commissary snacking may have slowed recently as tye jail interview also mentioned he hasn't received a donation in a long time outside sales of the jail art.

The indirect stuff is going to hit hard I imagine, stuff like if he’s had his toys thrown out or if a Pokémon CCG game shop tells Chris they don’t want someone with an incest with child charge in their store around children.

But it’s all kind of pointless since he’ll probably just treat it as unjust things happening to him, even if Chris was homeless it wouldn’t make him reflect on what he’s done he‘d just consider himself the victim of a cruel society who likes to play kick the autistic.

Just so as not to confuse any n00bs: he lost Null's support as soon as we figured out he was fucking his mom. I'm pretty sure Null has said in no uncertain terms that he's done trying to help Chris after that. And I don't blame 'em.

1. No, there's no way a jail/prison is going to take the extra steps to send all correspondence through a person's lawyer. Unless an inmate is threatening/harassing someone, they're free to send/receive any letters they want. (He's probably still not allowed to send anything to Barb, though.)

2. The letters probably aren't germane to the case at large (which is purely going to be regarding sex crimes at 12 Branchland). But if the DA's not slacking off (and we can safely assume angry internet weens are force-feeding them all the info they could possibly need) they'd probably like to have them on-hand to counter any oral arguments Heilberg might raise.

For example, if you're in Chris's place, you'd want your lawyer to be able to say things like "Your honor, my client's delusions are no longer a concern," or "Your honor, my client has expressed no interest in returning to 12 Branchland Ct," or stuff like that. You know, without the DA going "Actually, your honor, we have this letter that shows that everything that man just said is bullshit."

A feat that will be next to impossible to accomplish. All of Greene County nay the commonwealth of Virginia itself hates Chris to the core. The court really doesn't want this case to go to trial since they can't find an impartial jury.
Chris really isn't that famous. And it'd be trivially easy to find 12 people in his area who aren't terminally online internet people. And we can be fairly certain "have you ever heard of the website KiwiFarms.net?" would be prime among their jury selection questions.

Probably not. He'd be in prison now if he had, which would be a much worse place for him. They had no reason to go easy on him.

And courts almost always do agree. Look at Mercedes Carrera's case, it's been four years of delays, and is a much more horrendous case.

There was a hearing continuance two days ago and another coming up.
I guess I more meant movement that gives any insight into where this is all going. What's been coming out in the last months isn't really giving any indication of what they plan to do with him. If they've even decided at this point.
