I took the completed 14 pages artwork from the failed version of Lady Alchemy and Commi3 Mark'd it into a parody version retelling the story of what was happening to Martina inside the framework of the existing paid for art work.

I don't recall reading an actual script on the show, mostly because there was no actual script just an A4 doc with 12 or so clichéd and badly strung together plot synopsis. We may have read some of that out... Because it was retarded.

Yeah but the artwork displayed was derived from a script that was not compensated. You can't just take somebody's screenplay unpaid, produce it into a full feature film and when the screenwriter says "hey I wrote this", respond with 'uh that was a movie not a screenplay ohr wuhehuh'. Again, this is just what the litigants were putting forward on twitter. Of course they were both claiming that they were owners of the IP and that Martina didn't compensate them as their employer who was paying them to create her IP at different points in time. The entire case was a mess, but again she won and the comic did get made.

That stream actually is the one that pushed me over the monetization line iirc.

The Thotterdamerung has been delayed on account of Anna's attempt to "bring the wrath of the hobbit ; )" on a hormonal pregnant Martina Markota and she, uh, didn't win. Sort of like how Sarah Connor 'didn't win' against the nuclear blast wave in the intro to Terminator 2. Just straight up overkill really. My main takeaway from all of this was deep, deep concern for Jack Buckby. God help that man. Anyways, I think the shirt needs some graphics or something to really sell it.

Weird to see spite merch being utilized so early, usually that's a post-feud capitalization move. I would actually consider wearing that, because independent of this thot drama I find the "you don't know me because you don't know this one random obscure detail about me that informs absolutely nothing about my personality" argument to be particularly cow-ish, and I like wearing plain colored sweatshirts with minimal text, but of course Martina forgot to center the text so now its just a $35 wearable OCD trigger.

Mixed in with the self-marketing was an efap of a Rekt Planet unboxing video, pictures of old movie actresses, the requisite culture war stuff consisting of a trailer of a Disney woke cartoon for toddlers was discussed before closing off with a nostalgic one and a half hour viewing of an uploaded VHS tape of MTV from 1993.

Most of the rest of Comicsgate streams can be categorized as edgy posturing, hangout streams, drawstreams and group leechtubing.

Might this clear violation of sacred Comicsgate laws such as 'caveat emptor' and 'crime does pay' be what finally sets off the exodus from IndieGogo once and for all?

It's got to the point where all the genuine indies, including ones who know and talk to "CG kings" individuals have just got on with their lives. They talk to the poo, they just don't touch it.
CG itself is the most boring shitshow imaginable and CG Kings is just so fucking dull.

Ethan van heartattack really needs to lose weight. He's always had that pudgy uncooked cookie dough physique but at his age, and with his co-morbidities, if we want him around to laugh at we should be genuinely urging him to change his diet, firstly, and do some walking. And maybe just stop drinking alcohol and sweet drinks in general.
He is an artist, of a kind, and I don't want him to go blind. That is one of the main side effects of his diabetes or incipient diabetes.

As for the grifting they do, it's sad more than appalling now. They've lost about a thousand out of every three thousand backers and the numbers that don't add up have started adding up even less, with the weirdly high spend per backer and the 500 hats selling for what must be 90 dollars each or something.

Eric July is more fun but he's got a rock solid lock on his grift with the backing of Colonel Sande er Glenn Beck and friends so he is not only NOT comicsgate he isn't really even in the position of needing allies.
