I wonder if they based it on the film Ghost World. It ends with the protagonist catching a bus (at a bus stop that has been shown to be disused throughout the film) and a common fan theory is that this represents her committing suicide. (This is not what was intended by the writer or director.) It could just be a coincidence (and must be if it can be established that it was in use before the film came out in 2001).

Could very likely be nothing even connected to this person though, since "how now brown cow?" is a kind of common saying and variations of it aren't entirely uncommon as usernames. However, "cowinthenow", from everything that I'm able to see, only shows up in that one Instagram bio. Food for thought! (also if anyone is better at scraping and archiving stuff from Instagram that I am, it would be greatly appreciated)

Just an absolutely gross situation from all perspectives here. Had the Tantacrul video pop up in my recommended feed yesterday and I took the clickbait. While I can understand his initial revulsion at the existence of SS and its apparent connection with Matteo's suicide, his handling of the incident has been utterly appalling.
The fact of the matter is no mentally sound 17-year old kid is going to stumble upon a place like SS and randomly decide to delete themselves. Could a suicidal youth be convinced to cross the line after some time spent browsing such a forum? Certainly. But to make an outrage video pinning the entire blame on some obscure message board, while ignoring any other factors that could cause a teenager to feel like they had no other options is disingenuous at best, and downright predatory at worst. There really are no good guys here from my point of view, but taking the tragedy of a teenage suicide and spinning it into an outrage piece to generate views for your mediocre youtube channel is some next-level scumbag shit.
It's particularly telling that he seems to have sourced much of his information from Kelli Wilson. A woman so vile that she, stricken with grief in the wake of her teenage son's suicide, managed to get herself banned from twitter for repeated calls to violence and doxing of members of a fucking suicide forum. After hearing her monotone, emotionless recollection of details regarding her son's suicide, I can't for the life of me imagine why Junior might've felt compelled to kill himself. Tanta even goes out of his way to shout her out in multiple comments under the video. Truly an inspirational figure worthy of our admiration.
Speaking of her twitter ban, apparently she has a sock account that she's using to evade said ban. Here's a video she posted to her new account after half a bottle of wine and a couple of xanax, in which she calls out the former(?) admin of SS and admits to reading this thread.

@Markass the Worst linked the account earlier upthread, but I don't think he made the connection to it being Kelli's sock account. The rest of her twitter appears to be passive-aggressive threats (emphasis on the aggressive) directed at members of SS. Go check it out if you like, I've personally hit my limit on how much of this shitshow that I can stomach. Time for me to go take a long, hot shower and try to forget that any of this ever happened.

I skimmed through that quickly, it's not a meta-analysis and it focuses purely on SS. It doesn't have any results on how much of the posts are suicide encouragement because they were going to get humans to manually rate them. But otherwise it seems to be an okay study with useful data on the topics discussed on SS.
I think the most disingenuous part is that he redacted the suicide method he used in his video so it'd be easier to draw the conclusion that SS must have helped him to end his own life by advising him on the method. But no, train decapitation is a method that requires no instructions and no assistance.
Yes, she's saying @afounder is Marquis / Lamarcus Small, who handed over SS after he and Serge / Diego Galante got doxed by the NYT.
By the way, hi Kelli! If you have any receipts of what Light Upon Light did (including being funded by the DHS) feel free to post them here. Hopefully you're not @cowinthenow or @porch_day.
For a grieving mother, she sure does spend a lot of time making unhinged comments and threats about the founders and other SS members from her Twitter account(s). I spoke with many grieving relatives and parents of former members and have even helped many of them obtain closure. I don't think I'm the best person for that, but if it helps them grieve with the passing of a loved one or significant other then I think it's best to help them do that. I'm definitely not the good guy in this story nor do I think there are any.
However, Kelli Wilson has to be one of the vilest people that I've ever dealt with. I don't even care about that being in bad taste; She has directly pushed other members to suicide and continues to torment people in the name of "justice". Her Twitter timeline clearly shows a woman consumed by vengeance & rage, and there's no reasoning with that.

She doesn't have the receipts, just delusional rantings and conjecture. She is definitively free to post whatever she has here, but I'm highly doubtful that she has anything worthwhile after the Twitter tirade she went on about one of the founders. She'd rather push lawmakers and the DOJ to go after the founders instead of suing us. If she had any type of case or any evidence of any wrongdoing, why not take us to court or report it to the police? Surely any "investigation" that she claims to be happening hasn't borne any fruit and she's just saber-rattling and drunk posting as usual.
Neither one of us is interested in talking or debating with her; That's not the reason why I registered here in the first place.

It seems obvious what her deal is. Don't overthink it. She is just a cunt. More than likely her kid killed himself at least partially because of her constantly behaving like a cunt, and now that she doesn't have him to use as a lightning rod to absorb her cunt behavior, she's big mad and deflecting blame towards the fucking internet. She can't be a cunt to her kid anymore so she's gotta direct that pent up cunt energy somewhere, even if the kid had squeaky clean internet history then it would've been some other unfortunate target chosen as a scapegoat. A person who wasn't a cunt might do something like advocate for mental health services or establish a scholarship in their kid's name or some kind of thing intended to be productive, she's just being a hypocritical thorn in the ass accomplishing nothing but creating more suffering.
The ironic thing is, if the lad had actually been strongly influenced by what he'd read on SS and eaten meat preservative instead of nutting up and getting the job done properly, he could've ended up severely permanently disabled from botching it somehow and this whole grim situation could've been a hell of a lot worse.

The whole spiel of vaguely passive-aggressively threatening someone with "the proof" they have (and you'd better believe they've got MOUNTAINS of it!) but never actually posting it, and instead using her status as a grieving mother to post sassy callout videos on Twitter, is giving me major BPD vibes. I wonder if mental illness in the family could have at all contributed to her son's situation?

They've been going around adding nothing of note to several other threads too. They didn't first post here but their other posts before here were so much shorter and so much more shit it almost seems like they just did that so it didn't seem they were focused on SS. Who knows though. They don't appear to be a doublepost sperg like porch.
