In all honesty, the last time I took a look at "high fashion" runways I just thought that the women looked brutalized. It wasn't any one element (BMI, hair, makeup, clothes or even lighting etc) but my overall take away was "these designers HATE women"

I can kind of sympathise with tummy tucks tbh. Having a few kids can leave you with a pooch even if your weight is low. A small woman post twins I can see why you’d want one.
First pic you can see that the skin on the top side is rippled - look at the right hand side, it’s been sewn together really poorly, and the tension distributed badly leading to separation. It’s all bunched up. Wound closure should be done layer by layer and by the time you close the outer skin layer it should all be held and you’re just making it look good. Second one looks more like stitches popping and infection getting in.

i dont know about that, the male high fashion designs are also pure retardation, feels like the designers are playing a game of "how much can we humiliate the models before they quit"
although the male models do indeed tend to be in better physical shape and look less unhealthy than the female models

Other than [rapper in video] do you ever see someone wearing anything like on a premiere or anything like that? Male high fashion does not have the same hold over men like women's high fashion have over women.

I knew a lady in fashion that explained that part to me, those getups are like concept cars, they are meant to be shown off, it's a prestige thing. More affordable chains like HM will look at it, then copy lines, cuts and colors and make normal clothes, but they won't copy the whole thing because the whole thing is retarded. Which ties into...

Bizarrely enough, I can sort of understand the body dysmorphia that drives people to cosmetic surgery. What I can’t understand is how you can be so chill about gaping red holes in your body like bruh I’d just fucking kill myself. “Can’t wait for this to heal up!” your insides are outsides martha call an ambulance.

Dunno if this case is considered body dysmorphia. She was just fat, and wanted to be skinny/fit. Without the healthy life choices that leads to it.
I see the argument about getting your body permanently damaged by birth, and cosmetic surgery is okay in those cases. As you just make it to how the body was in the past.
But this woman, she's no mom. Mothers can't have ghetto claws, when dealing with their kids. She wanted the easy way out.
