I think you’re onto something. Non native speakers, especially those who learn english via pop culture like movies, songs etc (like salad) tend to be good at understanding english and speaking. But writing is much more different because it requires knowledge about grammar rules and understanding them. Even people who have been learning for 10+ years will make a lot of mistakes when writing. It’s normal. That why 90% of my posts are written in retard english. But Salah has shown he has issues with speaking very basic english. He keeps repeating the same phrases. And now he’s suddenly good at it.

OMG. No, she would not have had to declare the goddamn ring. Two reasons, one, she could just wear it and not say a thing, CBSA didn't have a picture of her left hand pre-trip for comparison. And secondly, that ring was cheap and would fall way below what you would have to pay duties on.

One can dream! I do think she is about to start suffering for her previous excessive lifestyle though, and it will hit her hard.
