For the microphone stuff, to be fair, the audio equipment field is still absolutely filled with snakeoil and marketing jargon that can be hard to understand without an autistic amount of research into what measurements actually matter versus the product's description of having "richer highs and smoother lows" or "having an expansive soundstage" gibberish. Then again, I guess vtubers are the ones that should be doing at least some research into equipment. It is a bit weird to see Pippa falling for it given her love of Metokur, who claims to have used the same shitty, cheap Logitech headset for the majority of his content until it finally broke a few years ago.

Bro, the materials are like $50 but the tools to build it, the skills to use those tools and the knowledge he referenced make this quite an expensive mic. Cool channel and I agree people should just get started. Like business they will probably fail their first time anyways.

The Streamer Awards are looking for nominations. You can nominate and if there's enough for that category they may make the finals.

Last year's VTuber of the Year award was heavily biased with only vshitshow and CodeMiko getting nominated, CodeMiko won it as well as the Streamy Award (a different awards show) which was basically the same people nominated again which caused an upset as no holos or nijis were in the list, neither were indies who had gained traction such as Shylily. So yeah, if people don't want a repeat of the bias, people need to make a serious effort nominating different people this time.

Kiara is trying to promote it and get holos nominated.

There are other awards you can nominate for other girls too, such as Lumi for strategy games and Tenma for game variety or whatever it was.

Nose looks wrong, i don't know all the proper terms to explain it but Karens nose is a bit more flat(?) then the 2nd girl.
Compare 2nd girl to this recent promo pic for the Demondice plushie, unless i am even more cripplingly retarded than i thought the noses are completely different. (The eyes also look different but the nose is a bigger red flag to me.)

It needs pointed out that the person who posted the pics in the other thread is Rotpockets, the fuck up autist who got banned here for his anti-Mori sperging. His claim is that Karen released these 2020 pics because she's trying to revive her channel.

None of it makes sense. Revive her channel? The DDK one? I would have to assume so because reviving her Mori channel makes even less sense but even that makes no sense. Why would she drop titty pics on /vt/ to promote her DDK account at the risk of losing what she's gained? She has a goddamned full length album out as Mori. What does this get her? I do like the added touch that RotPockets gives of saying these pics, which he's never seen posted before, are from 2020. That way if you say "It's kinda close to her but not really" I can be hand waved away by saying "This is before she got FAT!"

If Rotpockets had the ability to I have very little problems believing he'd shop Karen into child porn to try to wreck her. I do not trust him.

It doesn't even make sense because Karen has never thirst baited as DDK afaik, why go from hardly showing any skin to fuckin tit pics on /VT/, it makes no sense.
