Ross Perot ran against George HW Bush and Bill Clinton, an entirely hopeless situation. Bush deserved no one's vote, and Perot had an appealing America-first message.

Perot garnered the largest percentage of votes outside of Dems/Reps since 1912. 19% of the country voted for him. That would be unheard of now.

It's jackass revisionist history to pretend Bush was somehow a good candidate that deserved the presidency. He would've been the same as he had been before, and the Bushes and Clintons are on the same team anyway.
I mean, he pretty much just split the republican vote and got us Clinton. That, or nobody wanted Bob Dole.

The GOPe would absolutely kill some of their up and coming talent's potential in the future if it meant snuffing out Trump and the populism he brings right now.

Right, but what incentive does DeSantis have here to help out the GOPe? They can't force DeSantis to run 2024, no matter how badly GOPe may want him to. There is really no incentive for DeSantis to damage his Florida reputation, to jump into a GOP primary that will be a shitshow

I'd say it'd be somebody like Noem running. Or, as we see above, Haley.

Honestly the GOPe running a woman would be a smart play to soften abortion attacks.

That rumor was a kill bounty, which was a baseless rumor.

I was more referring to a materiel bounty. Like a javelin brought over they'll pay the person like 1/5th the value or something akin to that.

Also, yes the war thunder forums have had autists leak classified documents like 7 times? Now.

Leclerc S2-the french modern MBT
Challenger 2
F16
F15
DTC10-125 Chinese anti-tank round
etc
etc

If not Warthunder, it'll be World of Tanks.
But is it really worth having Lindsey Graham on your team? Come on.

The art of skillful politics is in finding your enemies' (or reluctant allies') interests and offering them that in exchange for something you both really want, like McConnell and Trump and judicial nominees. So the question should be, "what does Lindsey Graham really want, and what do Trump and Miss Lindsey both really want?" Sure, he'll backstab Trump as soon afterwards as he's able to, like McConnell did, but hopefully not until after the election season, and not until after Trump gets what he wants.

Her own campaign doctored the Chyron showing where she said she wouldn't run if Trump ran:

If she runs, she's doomed to disappointment. It's one thing to know, intellectually, that you won't get 10% of primary votes. It's another thing for it to happen and be slapped in the face by the reality that no one likes you and no one wants you to be President. That's got to be emotionally crushing for anyone with greater sensitivity than a slug. Which is why it never seemed to bother Biden, come to think of it.

I mean considering that Fetterman won his election - Hillary winning a solid 2-4 years after her death isn't that absurd.
I really do find the Democrat penchant for electing dead/obviously disabled people and just trusting in the party institution fascinating.
Maybe when enough of the Republican lifers start dying off the American electorate will prove it isn't a partisan issue, but the recent examples are always Democrats.

I always suspect that because the Democratic Party is the "social" party, they'd need to inflate their numbers somehow. Meanwhile, Republicans are experienced in BLOCKING the opportunity to vote. I could be wrong.

Even though I think the widespread idea that all efforts by Republicans to require basic chain of custody for voting is tantamount to BLOCKING VOTERS is just Democrat propaganda, that doesn't really factor into the Democrat penchant for electing representatives who are clearly disabled because a sane Republican is a worse outcome for them than a dead/mentally handicapped Democrat controlled by the party machine.
Like, the closest Republican example I can think of is John McCain's final years, and he had already been elected before news of the brain tumor broke, and his in-party approval rate was south of 30% when he finally croaked because of it.

The Democratic Party is the tolerant party. POC, Trans, disabled, LGBTQ, dead, immigrants, women, animals. All are welcome, except the obvious.

Boatloads of cushy do-nothing consulting gigs can coax the greedy, and there's always the ability for wormtongues to coax him in with the thought that it's his time now. Everyone that has crawled their way through the political system has their weakness.
I'm sure it'll be her turn one of these cycles, buddy.
Hillary Clinton's cycles ended at the turn of the millenium, friend.

If you want to know what the Democratic Party wants, take a look at It's A Small World After All. Lots of skin-deep diversity while everyone robotically parrots from the same script.
