I don't know if it's completely fake news. She does lie. But Polissa was denied by CPS from adopting those children for some reason. And I don't think it was necessarily because she gets welfare. We've gotten a very good idea at her housekeeping from pictures and what she mentioned about her house conditions. Was the visit before or after the tarp was put over the hole in her roof? I believe it was before, but she also claims that the house was falling apart from day one...

Depending on how far along you are, the baby may not even have a bunch of that stuff on them. If they’re a little bit early they can look very white with it, enough that nurses refer to them as cheesecake babies (or cottage cheese, idk it’s been a long time) either way it’s just irrelevant because we all know polissa wouldn’t bathe this hypothetical baby of hers - just as she can’t even take a cat to the vet or clean up a litter box
PCOS is an endocrine disorder, the only benefit of the hysterectomy would be no more pain due to rupturing cysts, I think. Frankly, rupturing cysts are not the biggest concern of most women with PCOS (in my experience.)
Women with PCOS can only reverse the symptoms through a combination of diet, exercise and sometimes medications and supplements. It's a lifetime commitment usually.

It would help, certainly. Though other hormones are involved, androgens produced by the ovaries are big in PCOS, and the hormone replacement she's getting will be an improvement similar to birth control. Yeah, she'd still have prolactin and other hormones potentially out of whack, but it has to be a noticeable improvement. If she'd drop weight, she's be (essentially) cured.

You absolutely DO get paid to foster bio-related children. The name varies from state to state, but generally it's called "kinship care" or ""family care placement". The amount of money is the same as traditional foster care. Additionally, when you foster youngins', you get additional SNAP, WIC if they're five or under, and social services often throws in gift cards or extra checks to cover initial needs (clothing, hygiene, toys) and growing/growth spurt needs.
Financial assistance may include a monthly board payment, Alabama Fostering Hope College Scholarship, Education/Training Vouchers (ETV) for foster youth, TANF, SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid/AllKids, Social Security, EIC (Earned Income Credit). There may be financial assistance for daycare for children under the age of 5.
Bearing that in mind, something tells me Porklissa didn't turn down the opp to foster her beloved relatives so much as SHE WAS DENIED FOR BEING A DISGUSTING HOARDING ANIMAL-ABUSING PORK PILE.

My ex girlfriend and I had provisional custody of her younger sisters. When it comes to family members all the guardians have to do is sign and get a provisional mandate of custody signed. That's it. It doesn't matter what state either because one kid was in MO and the other in AR. After one calendar year that paperwork expires and the original guardians HAVE to file with dcfs in THEIR state to either give you custody or renig on custody. That's when cps gets involved. When the original family thinks you're incapable or if the original fosters think there is something wrong during the provisional.
If CPS was already involved this meant the current foster family did not want the children to go live with Pissy Pants (not the children's parents) but because they are relatives and sparked hope in the kids it started to become a legal issue.
I am pressing X for doubt on the entire situation because of how lazy they both are to do anything.
I am not concerned with the validity of this statement, I am more concerned by the way she phrased it. The implications of “ONLY NON FAMILY GET PAID FOR TAKING CARE OF THE KIDS” is horrifying. This statement and its phrasing screams out to me, “I WANT MORE TUGBOAT MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY MEMBER’S CHILDREN”.
Obviously I completely understand why one would appreciate having government assistance in taking on the responsibility of a child from a potentially bad situation, but this is Polissa. We know her and how she operates. It’s all about “give me more $$$ to sit on my ass and neglect everything that doesn’t give me instant dopamine”.

Just as I thought. It always felt like a total copout on Polissa's part, like something she pulled out of her ass to make herself look better (when it makes her look worse). "I didn't take the kids because they wouldn't give me money!" is so selfish and shows that she really didn't actually care for the kids themselves but for the paycheck they'd provide. The standards of living for CPS are on the floor and she still failed. That is terrifying to think about. That'd be a wakeup call for other people. There are people on Hoarders that do that big clean up so they can keep their kids. Pissa just don't give a shit.

And absolutely every issue is far more complicated than she could ever hope to grasp. I didn't watch her book banning TikTok and don't know where the empty shelf image came from (the one she showed-- I don't know the origin story of that particular image). It is true that schools have always had an issue with parents getting books banned, and it is true that such complaints are on the rise. However, the solution isn't "just let us keep all the books-- trust us, k'?," and not even the media center librarians would say that. It's a complex problem that's blowing up out of a vast number of issues.
Like most problems, in fact. I mean, you get to have an opinion, sure, but don't mistake your layman's opinion for an informed opinion or, worse yet, for an informed solution. And-- here's a radical idea-- you might consider how you could help address a problem. Shockingly, whining on TikTok helps no one, and it hurts when it spreads misinformation. TikTok is bad for my blood pressure.
She's so useless, and she's so unaware of how useless she is. And she doesn't begin to understand that she's part of the problem when she spreads bad information, no matter how few non-basement dwellers view said information.
