Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate

People on Twitter trying to vilify him over it speaks more about their character than it does his. And that especially includes Wu.
John is a man who has never done anything for anyone but himself. Even the people who worked for him got ripped off, John stole the credit for their work, then fired them.

Broadly speaking, people are motivated by only a few things: greed, power, revenge, bragging, and (rarely) sincere altruism / honor.

Denigrate bragging at your peril.
The desire for approval is why most "good" things are done, rather than for their own sake. People who are completely oblivious to approval are either saints or sociopaths. Usually, like John, they're sociopaths.

I'd consider that bragging-adjacent, personally. And while bragging can be annoying, and it's possible to brag about stuff you didn't do, and I'd agree with the Bible where it says you shouldn't talk about your benevolent acts, it certainly has its place.
Paying for cataract surgery? I don't really care if he wrangled it for cheap. Good on him.

Ironically the only person really in a moral position to criticize the dude (other than the mild tackiness of it) is someone who is charitable without boasting about it. John, who has never done the right thing, is in no position to criticize someone who did the right thing for the wrong reason.

Almost anyone who gives to charity also deducts it on their taxes. Are they bad, too? My opinion is basically "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's." But not a penny more.

Of course no one believes you, John. You lie about your gender.

So how many people's medical procedures has this retard paid for? Oh right he votes democrat so that's basically the same thing.
Seems that he deleted the tweet after getting his ass blown out. Someone else posted an article about mrbeast being terrible to work for, and after John wholeheartedly agreed that it proved his assumptions, several people pointed out that it was basically a hit piece from a disgruntled former employee. I don't really know anything about mrbeast, but I'm guessing John wants to start some kind of vendetta to get back into the spotlight. So far his track record is 0-2 after his failure with Destiny. Wonder who he'll target next?

John should talk about how people treat employees.

Drama over a guy paying for people to see is fucking stupid. He payed for a ton of people’s surgery to be able to see again, I really don’t give a rat’s ass if he makes a cringy Youtube video about it, pretty sure the good far outweighs the perceived bad.

You don't get it. If it weren't for [[[right wing]]] tax deductibles those people would still be almost blind.

Left hand, right hand, I'm not a christian but that part makes a lot of sense to me. That's where the tax deductions for charity vanities becomes silly in my opinion... If someone really rich wants to give a lot to charity, the same way a regular person sticks a 20 or a hundo into a jar, then please do so out of the goodness of your heart. We don't, can't and won't deduct it.

If anyone here sees themselves as a good person and helps people/strangers regularly in some way. Never mention it, never talk about it, keep it to yourself. Do it for a couple of years and you will find a peace you can never imagine.

Deleted it because of the "blowback" of being right all the time:

I think the tax deduction encourages people to use their charity money more intelligently than the government does, and it would be hard to use it worse. I actually think some things deserve an outright tax credit where spending money on something particularly benevolent should count dollar for dollar as paid taxes, instead of just being deducted from taxable income.

You went looking for them and already fapped to them, didn't you, John.

I agree John, Pokimane should definitely sue the people who she has no idea who they are for something that's unclear legally and also sue the people the law already specifically exempts from liability. How much exactly are you willing to donate?

I wonder if his skepticism about mrbeast's charitable motives comes from his own experience in running a non-profit, where he is the biggest individual recipient of expenditures.

Also Brianna, next time you take a picture of your latest hello fresh monstrosity, maybe flip the meatballs burnt-side-down and put the plates on a clean table. Or just don't - following a recipe with all the ingredients pre-measured isn't the accomplishment you think it is.

John should sign on for the SLAPP liability for filing a frivolous lawsuit while he's at it.

Floor is sort of dirty, meatballs are more over priced, wastefully packaged meal kit bullshit, but I don't see anything wrong with this. Its not plated particularly beautifully, and I'd have maybe cleared up the baking pan before taking my foodfap shot - but I also wouldn't have inverted my cock and entered into a relationship with a screaming abusive asian man so different strokes.

Its certainly not thick slice of gumbo from the New York Times territory.
