It wasn't an ordinary Mustang. It was a GT500. He doesn't really seem to understand anything about cars though. I think his watery brain only understands higher HP better.

It seemed like an impulse buy. He wanted something NOW and wanted to spend alot of money. So rather than wait for a good Corvette (or presumably one of the high hp Hellcats), he went with the GT500.

He took delivery of the car in the middle of the winter during a snowstorm. He tried to drive it home from the dealer with the stock GT500 tires through the snow and put it in the ditch. He had to be towed home. The problem was him not understanding the car, the tires, RWD and that a GT500 isn't something to be driving in the winter.
