I won't be surprised if that's true, someone who makes videos longer than some movies combined, somehow didn't elongate the video for probably the longest movie of the decade, just to find a way to bitch about it's length w/o looking like a hypocrite. Said review is 3 hr long, which is just 1 hr lesser than the movie, & probably one of his shortest reviews of all time.

TCD, despite being part of his clique, actually did a somewhat diplomatic job at it than Mauler. I will say tho, Mauler is still better than the infamous r/movies creator who just claimed Znyder killed his own daughter (who committed suicide, which WB used to permanently keep him out of DC) to get the film made. Not that it's a high bar.

I'm not really a fan of Critical Drinker, but yea, he structures a review way better than MauLer. CD keeps his reviews short, simple and sweet baring between 10 to 20 minutes. I'd agre that Dr. Shyam (under Possum Reviews) does a better job at reviewing. Even his review of The Predator, despite clocking in at exactly an hour, is still much shorter than the movie he's reviewing itself, and does a better job with pacing and explaining rather than being exaggerating unlike MauLer.

Listened to the Steven Rape verse video again, first time in years, and compared to 14 yo me just laughing at ER being edgy, this time around, big boi me in his 20's, despite E;R not reviewing the rest of the series, my gosh his criticism is still golden. And the John Money bit, good lord. That video was too good for YouTube.

I liked it when Mauler sperged out for like 9 hours shitting on DS2 and Hbomberguy. Outside of that I don't know why he hangs out with him or Rags other than they might just be big fans. He's borderline silent in any streams though so there's no point.

I looked up E;R at Jim's recommendation from some fucking stream (I think it was one of his "Metocast" series). At the time E;R was posting the Deadpool v. OPM comparison videos which I found funny as hell. Subbed and never looked back.
Oh, also I downloaded his whole channel's output. I might've missed anything that was twitter-exclusive, though

not all of them go on for hours, and the defeated "omg it's all so terrible" cracks me up hard every time. his constant shitting on ruin johnson in the TFA video was also quite nice. plus he tends to point out shit others overlook or don't go into, so I can live with the slightly longer runtime compared to the semicolonizer.
