Vesper had, and still kinda has, a fear that he will do something that will ruin the life (or day) of a person he knows by accident, and if he had to choose between that and not interacting with anyone he would choose the latter. However, now while he has that fear in the back of his mind when interacting with e.g. Magni, he has stopped giving a shit if he will accidentally ruin a viewer's day on his solo streams. Vesper stop eating three day old burgers, tripping on sleeping pills, and try to be a little more confident.

Bettel got smarter for a second in his collab with Magni.

Yea it was probably just lipservice to please future sponsors. Then again she's still young so change in beliefs wouldn't be so surprising. She did have phases when she didn't want to be "edgy" or affiliated with anything that would offend someone for a short period of time, but that was probably just result of temporary change in medication.

Whatever happens, I don't think she will stray from her current persona to much since it's a formula that works and she seems to enjoy things as they currently are.

Nobody but us even cares about vtubers, mostly because it stinks of anime and anime fans can be abhorrent and degenerate. If it wasn't for K-pop stans splitting everyone's attention by somehow being more annoying than anime fags the anime menace would already have been wiped out. This is May 2020. It is a few months before she debuted as Hololive's #1 detective, so that means there's only a few people who ever saw these sets and we're lucky even this much survives. In regards to the old Gura photo, 3 or 4 different people have posted the exact same things that I said in my explanation of why I thought it was real, and I believe 10+ people have accused the people talking about it of trying to figure out if she's actually fat or not, when the conversation was only about whether that OLD picture was real. We all agree that she's a skinny thing now, we just wanted to discuss the veracity of that OLDER photo because it relates to her life's timeline.

12 pages later and yet on the same exact day, I remember when 20 pages a day was the norm for this thread, people started picking fights with Null over his choice of moderation. Null responded back directly 4 pages later and things devolved from there. Whether Null is right or wrong in his decision is irrelevant. This is his site, we are thread talking about a hobby people find offputting, and people were the one man who already doesn't like us and has the ability to erase us all dumb over drawings of anime. Being able and willing to laugh at everything on the Internet is a very important trait to have, and if she were to actually begin noticeably backtracking on an essential aspect of character like that in her content, especially at this point, it would be a recipe for people to begin perceiving betrayal and disappointment. Yes, this is big overthinking, but I feel it's important to be said anyways.

Given that it has been proven in the past Pippa lurks here and may still continue to do so, I'd like to personally say to her if she ends up seeing this that having an 'edgy' sense of humor is not a bad thing whatsoever, nor is having zero filter when it comes to what you find funny. Sense of humor has literally zero indication on whether or not you are a 'good person' or your 'maturity level', regardless of what Twitter or Reddit may try and guilt you into believing, & laughing at children and the mentally ill is perfectly fine - it's what Jim did constantly in his prime, with things like his Tumblrisms series being a prime example of this. Trying to alter this specific aspect of yourself in an attempt to fit an arbitrary definition of what defines a 'good person' is an unhealthy mindset to have. You may have flaws, and by all means you should continue attempting to self-improve, but finding 'taboo' things like mentally ill disabled retards funny is not one of them, nor should you try and force change this specific part of yourself if you truly do still find things funny deep down. Don't self-guilt over humor, and don't feel bad for laughing at things.

I wonder if she's at the point where she's gotten so big that it's starting to worm into her mind her "influence" or "platform", like she's so big now that she's now punching down. Her raiding into that small Japanese streamer and then gushing about how cute she was the day after makes me think that she's trying to pay it forward. I think laughing at others is perfectly fine given the context. Laughing at Tumbles the Stair Dragon falling down stairs is funny because he tried to kill himself by throwing himself down something like 5 steps after trying to cut himself with a pair of sun glasses in an autistic rage. Laughing at Ethan Ralph getting his shit stomped, twice, is funny because he put himself out there as the biggest badass ever and got firmly put in his place. Laughing at Rick Moranis getting randomly beat in New York for no reason comes off as just sociopathic.

There's also the fact that she's used her streams just to vent or workshop ideas or thoughts she might be having so I don't put too much thought into her trying to sanitize herself. I don't think she's having troll's remorse.

the tl:dr several millennia ago our dear leader found a clip on the fediverse about a certain vtuber called Maho Carol, in that one she was being a creep thirsting for minors on stream, thing that nailed her a suspension from Twitch and youtube, Null believed that Vtubers and for that matter anime were a gateway to pedophilia on the site even when in all the thread no one was talking about it, after some shitflinging the thread was moved to another place of the site, someone here talked privately with nool and convinced him that we were cool guys and the thread was moved back to Multimedia with strict new rules that is that we kept contained the discussion of vtubers here and no CP or thirstposting allowed, he also asked us to find who she was and i was the one that found her but not doxxed her

Thats the oversimplified version of what happened i dont personally remember the thread being nuked, just moved
