I don't know why people think it's not Salah writing. It is. He sometimes hits the grammar right but more often than not he doesn't. No. If the arranged marriage theory is correct, Salah would have been introduced to a Muslim girl. According to this theory, he would have rejected the arranged marriage because he was already in love with someone else (Chantal). Nobody is trying to get Salah to marry Chantal. Whoever was trying to rent her the house (if this is even related to the Kuwait arc, which it may not be) ran for the hills. Alaa and his wife knew the score with Chantal almost immediately.
