It's from when he went to New York as part of some Macy's cook-off or something. He sent in a recipe for short ribs and they chose him as one of the contestants.

He didn't win obviously.

I'm still waiting to see how badly he looks when he gets out of the hospital. The fact that he hasn't actually posted anything to his Facebook about his trip to the emergency room seems to show that this one was pretty serious.
