"LOL, beefcake in a dress" was used in the Prose Edda for the story of Thor pretending to be Freya to thwart the marriage between her and a Jotunn:

Do you know, I'd forgotten that Thor was canonically trans. In that he was a violent male who dressed in women's clothing to access a space he wasn't welcome and cause harm.

...Shit, someone get Marvel on the line. They've sacked that cuck, Taika Waititi, they're going to need someone new to direct their next Thor movie and oh boy, do I have a script for them!

Normies took anime, i was bullied for liking basic shit like naruto in middle and high school, but now its just seen as normal. Also all the new shit is cringe and gay, i cant watch it anymore. Too many people i know irl that have coombrain bc of 2d waifus.

True crime is becoming more popular with woman which would be a good thing for me, but I scare them off when I start talking about serial rapists/school shooters. They only like dahmer cause he's a fag.

Leftoids/the terminally online in general but especially trannies, tankies and weird fusions of the two (trankies?). 3 examples spring to mind.

I loved Little Witch Academia (still do) and sought out people to talk to about it with, and inadvertently found myself in a Reddit-adjacent community (I didn't realize it was Reddit-adjacent until it was too late). It was mostly tolerable, save for one individual, an actual communist troon named "Ms. Happy" (or "Gocker" in other circles). I was perfectly civil to it for the longest time but eventually the constant unironic Stalin simping and creepy/pervy behaviour (which was directed towards me in the end) got to me and I told the creature what I thought of it and I was banned (so was it, to be fair). Then I got made persona non grata thanks to the magic of Twitter. Amusingly, one of the mods from that place later apologized to me and revealed she'd bailed after modding the place became completely unbearable.

Transformers is an incredibly autistic fandom as is but ye gods it is overrun with "those types" nowadays. I got perma'd from a forum I'd been a part of for 11 years for voicing mild concern about the quality of the new Earthspark show (and refusing to apologize for being "racist" by...criticizing the incredibly poor character designs?). It seems like being slightly right of Mao is enough to make you an unperson in most TF circles. We can probably blame the prevalence of the wiki for that, owned as it is by Walky.

Evangelion blew me away as a weeblet, but alas I made the mistake of joining Evageeks. Enough said. (On the plus side, it did result in me meeting my girlfriend, so that's something!).

Legend of Galactic Heroes is a safespace for sanity in anime. It's too long and character driven for most retards.

anything from the 80s and 90s really, the current year people just want to sperg about the latest waifubait romcom and ship character from the very most popular shonen and the attention span has become minuscule.

a hobby as massively autistic as furbies could not possibly be free of tranny drama, and most recently all creators big and small have been jumping onto a particular dogpile against "SOMEONE" who supposedly did a transphobia. the details are infuriatingly vague, just that there is SOME creator who has said SOMETHING to SOMEONE and it was heckin transphobic you guys, for real. gives every single autist (and better yet, every single small business that sells furby related shit) under the sun an excuse to post a bunch of dumb word salad condemning no one in particular and the vague notion of "intolerance", spam tranny flags and make wild claims about how akshully all furbies are queer/trans. all of this over absolutely no concrete statement from anyone on WHAT happened, no receipts, no screenshots, just pure undiluted troon drama.

it really is more dull than it sounds, basically "SOMETHING" happened to an unnamed, unspecified person (and no proof was posted anywhere) which spurred all the engagement hungry big name fans to post insane rambling screeds such as this one (sorry it's cut off, it goes on for several more paragraphs in the same vein)
the "FURBY ART IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY" shit coming from them is pretty rich since they sell unlicensed furby merch on redbubble

You know i hadn't thought about it but the old Disney cartoons like Tailspin or Ducktails are probably plagued with the same issues, i'm not going to ruin my fond memories with Don Karnage porn just yet. Never mind Disneys been particularly shit for many years now.

Disney got to big and too powerful, it hooved up companies for a single IP and it's ended up trashing the media market. for a while they where buy the company not the IP and then a lot of IP's where just tossed or left to die, and others where changed to fit in with the larger company.

I've just started getting into survival camping, and i am pleasantly surprised to find none of the spectrum of tards or troons. Just middle aged guys building hunting camps and testing camping gear out or cooking over a stone pit with some mod cons its very comfy and informative.

Oh no they are there they just tend to be the better sort of train sperg, i.e. they are informative and willing to try other methods but having a barrier to entry in the form of basic skill or drive keeps them out. You tend to see this in practical hobbies / skills where you can't just cheat your way into notice you need to have skill or a natural aptitude for it and then put the effort into it.

I'm not a member any more but my local "maker space" (fucking hate that term) had two solid groups the Digital and Non digital, and the digital side was in another building and was packed full of troons and gender specials doing "Subversive Arduino" and "LEDGBT SOLDERING NIGHT" they where the vocal ones who normally did nothing but the other side was the practical side that had a full workshop in a old ware house and we did things like - "Fix it night" if it's broken show up and we will fix it even if it means making a part, local parks gates fucked? We'll make one an fit it, etc last I heard they where trying to split it into a maker space an hacker space.

Chris Fleming was right. There are too many annoying polyamorous people in burlesque and some of them smell of mothballs.

This has started invading vintage fashion circles, it's sad to see a lot of people just getting into it and just thinking it's a erotic style as they show up at meet ups and glad rag nights (dress an dance nights) expecting it to be a fetish night without the PVC and then realising that this isn't there community, Ironically one of the local best dressed winners is into BDSM / DOM stuff but she dresses in vintage stuff because she likes it and her fetish stuff is far and a way different from her at these sort of places and events.

So far they haven't invaded the "Promenade" events, where we walk around in costume around a park and do other events every couple of months - once they realise that this isn't a gay pride event they kinda fuck off, I think the brass band playing has something to do with it.

This is why I only stick to certain anime's. Touhou has a pretty interesting fan base, many of the people into it are really cool. But the fandom also has a fair share of retards who shit up the brand because of faggotry and fetishes for the girls. Made me uninterested in Touhou for quite awhile until I rediscovered what it really was.

It's the attitude a lot of them seem to have that gets me of wanting you to basically tell them they're better than you because they have the GRACE and HUMILITY to be in multiple relationships. Extreme main character syndrome. I have no disdain for non-monogamous people who aren't pompous veganesques about it, but that shit really seems to attract narcissists. I geniunely believe some polyamorous people are just narcissists who realize that polyamory is a great disguise for such behaviour, and since the other half of the community is generally naive idiots it's a constant drama circle of attention whores and enablers. If they could just engage in subcultures without trying to make the subculture about polyamory I wouldn't give a single fuck.

At least gay people had to struggle for the right to be loud about being gay, polyamorous people just spawned as a fetid toilet turd that demands flushing, yet goes nowhere.

This is because modern digital electronics require zero knowledge beyond operating your credit card to buy some starter kit. Modern starter kits often come based around a raspberry pi or beaglebone or some other cheap and powerful micro, and you have umpteenth thousand tutorials to copy and paste code and shell commands from. You have C++ and sometimes even Rust toolchains for most microcontrollers. You have micropython, Scratch.

I hate the term "maker" because it embodies the consumerist lack of awareness and demand driven approach to have all their problems solved for them. They show active resistance to learning how the hardware they use works. Makers will buy $100 worth of modules from Adafruit or china that are worth $10. Then they build something that works for a week and takes 10x the resources, because they are using a single board computer with linux running python or rust to do something that a non-maker could write in C or even assembly on a $5 microcontroller. They have 30 minute attention span which prevents them from doing anything more complicated than putting ready made blocks together and there is only so many ways you can put some blocks together.

I am not gatekeeping because I saw these people and they are willfully ignorant. They dont have a photodiode, or an LCD display, they have a photodiode module and an LCD module both of which come with useless software libraries that produce bloated and slow code. I love that I can program a microcontroller in C++, Python or scratch, but I also know what I cannot do in these languages that can be done easily in C. And I know how to solve problems using analog circuits because sometimes they are the best solution. What drives me mad is their holier-than-thou attitude when you dare not asspat their skills of assembling ready made modules and merging a few example codes.

These people usually stop at digital because you can explain digital logic in an hour using just a few crayons. Analog tech requires you to master a lot more knowledge like linear algebra before you can build the simplest things. Ask a maker how do you calculate the resistor value for a led and they will give you a deer-in-the-headlights stare. So naturally the Non-digital part of your hackerspace was free of these crazy morons.

I am not a maker. I do not make things from a ready made recipe. I am a designer, an engineer, I analyse the problem and design a best solution using a wide range of tools that take ages to master.

but I scare them off when I start talking about serial rapists/school shooters.
I'm kind of in a similar boat as you. Instead of true crime, I like reading about dictators instead. Unless someone is very interested in history, I don't bring this up with anyone otherwise because I am 100% certain I will be accused of being a Nazi (a Slavic Nazi, ha) if I mention having read Hitler's autobiography or if I mention that I am interested in studying the Spanish Civil War (and its outcome), and I don't want leftoids to think I'm buddy-buddy with them if I mention Castro or Lenin.

I have come to realize that my niche hobby might be "socially unacceptable", but apparently having the same hobby where you read about serial killers who torture and rape people is apparently fine in the eyes of society - channels like ID are popular and have been a thing for years for a reason. KF has a "Serial Killer Fangirls" thread for another reason, and that's a whole nother animal on its own. I find these women who fetishize serial killers (and they are all women, almost always) deeply unsettling. I think them being put off by the school shooter thing is because it reminds them of notable incel types who have killed people in the past.

I am more surprised that Furbies are still a thing ANYONE cares about.
