Fuck, I wish I had that kind of money to burn on pre-orders. It's truely wild how buying one game makes you a "transphobe" when the devs have stated no money is going to J.K. Rowling (Which I guarantee is bullshit, but that's beside the point).

I'll get the game if it doesn't go full Cyberpunk 2077 on us and be overhyped to death and come out with 1,000,000 bugs.

When did they say no money is going to her? All things considered they've been pretty diplomatic about her involvement in the game, something like "she's not writing it but we're trying to stay true to her world".

They pulled last-gen releases until a future date but I'm expecting it to not ever release on old hardware tbh. It'll have bugs. How many? Who knows. It was definitely bad enough they didn't want a repeat of Cyberpunk's thing where even Sony had to refund last-gen shit because of how broken it was.

This guy is overreacting IMO. I don't think the character writing (or maybe even the story) will be the strongest part of the game, but it's not going to be terrible either. As for the historical shit, JK Rowling always brushed over the majority of real history and it'll probably be the same here. So long as the broad strokes are seen to (i.e. character comes from X and is now in Y) that's all they really need to focus on.
