I am completly convinced Pat sees reality differently than a normal person does, his delusions are extremly pronounced. He will break eventually and i am very curious what his actual breaking point will be, i'm split between Quasi/Jerry Jen's goons coming to collect or when Nikki eventually leaves his fat ass. Rick's "thinking meats" are a lot more fucked than those of the average cow.

You gotta love how any sympathy people have for him likely dries up once they see how Pat interacts with these "stalkers ". You can see it in the podcasts or other times when normies have been somewhat sympathetic. It becomes very clear (as it did to all us hence why we're here) that Pat is doing nothing to fix his situation and just perpetuates the trolling as if it's some symbiosis.
Could have easily made it clever by making it "It was a cold-dark night in space - as it always is." or something.

Him denying that he knows who dan mullen is is the ultimate cope. He goes around claiming that “as soon as we have their identities, they go to jail” and yet he literally has two of their identities and nothing has happened. He’ll just keep saying this forever, because it lets him be a victim forever. Does he really think no one will wonder how the totally real investigation by totally real cops can’t figure out who dan is, despite his name being all over this thread and the entire other forum?

I have Gate Crashers but couldn't get past the first paragraph. If you start a thread for this in the Art & Literature section I'll do book club with you. I honestly do want to read it - I got through a few chapters of The Ark and it's just bad and boring, but Gate Crashers looks like Torque doing Joss Wheden digging up Douglas Adams and pissing on his skull.
