The true moral of the story is that the legal system is a literal crap shoot.
I took an L with Chauvin. His case IMO was solid, and he got 20 years even while the fent OD was really a true probable cause. I took an L with Rittenhouse. I was certain he'd face life in prison. And I held my opinions with VIC, but after thousands of weebwars pages and streams saying VIC HAS A ROCK SOLID CASE HE'S WINNING 4 SURE, and now he's cucking to legal funds?
I think I will never trust anyone's opinions or my own on lawsuits ever.

I'm not even slightly a lawyer, so take everything I say with an entire saltshaker, but I still think Vic had a pretty solid case. The issue is that due to a series of cascading fuckups, that case never had a chance to be argued.

That's because they just blindly assume the side they think is right is going to win, and sometimes they're going to be right. It was pretty obvious to most normal people that Rittenhouse was going to win, just like it was pretty obvious that Donald Trump couldn't do shit about the election he lost, Chauvin was going to take a murder charge and Vic was going to be publicly exposed as a big stinky sex molester and have his bank accounts pillaged to compensate his victims.

He probably should have stuck with his original lawyers. So long as they got it filed by statute of limitations and dotted all their is and crossed all their ts, and didn't show up to get drunk on livestreams the very night of botching a critical filing, Vic would at least have not ended up owing a cuck and the slam pig it serves.
I thought it was a pretty clear-cut case of self-defense, not that that means much. I always thought Chauvin was at best a fuckup, and probably guilty of something, but not murder. He still got railroaded (and convicted of mutually contradictory things), but it was a lot more obvious the fix was in in his case.
It's one thing to ignore some junkie piece of shit squealing "uh can't breed" over and over but when he actually does stop breathing maybe you should take your knee off his neck. That said everyone deserves a fair trial and he didn't remotely get one.
