If you consider DCMediagirl to be a gunt, it's two fake breakups on the same day. DC clickbaited people with a fake breakup a few hours before Chantal went live.

I feel like at this point, it's less about being fooled by her obvious lies as being so fucking desperate for the Salad arc to be over that people can't contain themselves. The mere possibility of never hearing "eenshulluh" or seeing Gunt gaze adoringly up at his frog face ever again... Well, you can see how some people might rush to embrace that hope.I did not believe it was over between Salad and MariHam when I started reading about it earlier this morning while catching up with the thread, and I was apparently right to do so.
Let's not forget we are dealing with two simpletons, including one with obvious BPD who will provoke and explode at any given occasion in order to get the attention back on her. Chantal is well known to be impulsive, defiant and stupid, on top of being a compulsive liar, and that includes lying to herself. I wouldn't put it past her that Salah just wrote (or said) something along the lines of ''it's just an arranged marriage anyway'', and the behemoth turned it into ''he never loved me'' conclusion.
I tend to always wait for the receipts when she announce something, not only because she often ''changes her mind'' but also because she is too unstable, impulsive and plain dumb to take what she says for granted.
This line of thinking makes me much more comfortable about the extreme disappointment I felt seeing some of my fellow kiwis eat up the breakup bait yesterday. Because my first thought was wow this is really embarrassing.I feel like at this point, it's less about being fooled by her obvious lies as being so fucking desperate for the Salad arc to be over that people can't contain themselves. The religious stuff is nails on chalkboard to me. She said she hasn't read any of the Koran yet. You are flying around the world stuck on a plane with nothing better to do and still you haven't read anything about your religion but you are fine saying all those goofy Islam catch phrases every other sentence. She could read it while she ate and be finished by now. Put some effort into your grift.* Inshallah
* Yalla
* Habibi
* The HEE-JOB
* The low BMI voice
* As-salamu alaykum
Well, lessee...She's too inexperienced with relationships to see how badly she screwed up last night, how she hastened the inevitable end of these charades.
Nader no doubt grew up in chaos & continues to live chaotically - he can handle Chantal. Not so Salah - whatever life he's lived, it's had far more social constraints than has Nader's life and he's not swift enough to pivot quickly & change his style of interaction.
After the appalling exhibition of behaviour we saw from her yesterday, that WE are used to & the no doubt even more reprehensible crap she laid on him "privately", he's eventually gonna start doing some thinking. 3 months+ & not 1 iota of her behaviour has truly changed - doesn't bode well for a placid future, does it, Salah?
The there's the matter of his "not being able to control his woman" - I have no idea how culturally significant that truly is but it seems to be from the little I know. What more is he willing to lose to hang on to this cretinous entity as a path to permanent residency? I suspect not very much - there are easier ways to get here.
Again, Dutch Courage has her figured out as perfectly as anyone her can & I think he's right - we're now firmly set on the end road.
As for Chantal, she's now broken the ice on admitting that life with Salah in Kuwait is not the 100% perfection she tried to sell in such a futile manner. We know how this plays out - she just becomes bolder & mouthier.
