RE: The whole debate about "True" trans and "Fake" trans. My last post was pretty much about the argument. Imo, there are the distinctions between the predators and people with genuine dysphoria, but but the idea of transgender identity is formed on falsehood in the first place. If we get rid of trans identification, we thwart the predators and at the same time people with dysphoria would be getting a real psychological help instead of Frankenstein butcher job.

Unfortunately people see transgenderism/ gender dysphoria as a illness rather than a symptom. Imo there are underlying conditions causing transness, in social norms of 'failed women/men' ala HTST, or depression that leads to a sort of suicide of their old self. By switching genders, they feel the slate is wiped clean, and they don't have to view their past as a failure and feel they can change. And lastly, the pervy porn-addicts who fetishise womenhood as perfection. They read hentai with futanari railing women because who wants to look at man-ass, and either self-insert as the futanari or it just becomes normalized to them. This last one can really be seen in a comparison to those who do something just as perverse, scat fetishists. It must take a long time jacking it to porn of scat without the nose or taste, before that positive association overrides the senses repulsion to scat IRL.

I've gone off topic, but my point is that because transness is viewed as a monolith, it can't be understood by research. We won't be able to explore these mental illnesses and the transition they cause and minimize that pain. Because admitting that being trans is not a roll of the dice from the womb or in genetics means that transness is a product of your environment growing up. So it could be minimized before someone becomes trans, so they can lead a more happy cis life. Which trans activists would say is conversion therapy.

It really depends. More often than not, gays aren't really "allowed" to exist outside of politics unless they take a firm stance against the community. Even fence sitters will eventually be pressed to form an opinion on the poop-stained Philly pride flag. All kinds of guys hookup and most of the time there are no barriers preventing that, but once it's over it always boils back down to gunt guarding the left which means getting all up in arms about trans stuff. The scant few times you see gays calling it out is when they've left the community or when they declare that they shouldn't be pressured into being raped or that gay kids shouldn't be misgendered as trans, which usually only happens after some breaking point where it's more palatable to the community.

That's a fair point. In my experience, every time I've run into yaoi girls they act the exact same as AGPs. They have this intense fixation with masculinity and homosexuality, but moreso their idealization of it. They do self-insert pretty hard like you mentioned, treating any backlash to their fetish as genuine homophobia or dressing up as boys and fooling around with each other. It's something I think a lot of gays notice but don't talk about and the women that are aware of it always make excuses and try to sweep it under the rug (again, in my experience). So I would agree that on some level it's unconscious, but there is also a conscious effort to co-opt certain things the same way AGP do.

From what I’ve seen, the troon’s biggest and most consistent defenders, other than themselves, seem to be women.

You see examples on major social media platforms and it’s bizarre to see. One minute, you see a woman like JK Rowling expressing valid concerns for women’s safety get readily attacked by other women. Then those same women that attack TERFs will then go on to say how women’s concerns are often invalidated or not taken seriously or talk about how they constantly feel on guard around men because they don’t know who is predatory. They say this while defending obviously predatory AGPs.

Overall, when it comes to a lot of female spaces you often see a decent subset of women regulating themselves and other women on behalf of AGPs. You hardly ever see this type of behavior in male dominated spaces - whether it’s mostly straight dudes or gay/bi dudes. It’s why every gay subreddit actually has gay men on it and most major lesbian subs have mostly AGPs and the few handmaidens left. This is also why general female subs have pinned pro-trans posts and frequent reminder posts railing against TERFs with women commenting that they will defend their “trans sisters” while the average male sub doesn’t.

So, it’s not surprising that they go to male-dominated spaces or create communities like Ovarit that are strict against AGPs and their defenders. I’ve noticed that in order for a female space to survive, it is not enough to solely focus on keeping out AGPs. You also need to be cognizant of the women that will defend them because they often act as a pipeline/backdoor for troons to invade and inevitably dominate the space. But I rarely or never see a subset of men acting like a pipeline to allow Aiden’s to enter their space, gain mod privileges, dominate it by frequently creating celebratory posts about their “front holes”/“man holes”, and having a subset of men help them in driving out the dissenters.

So, we all know transwomen get their ideas about periods from stereotypes and pop culture. But a lot of them also apparently think that when women describe their period as "that time of the month" or being monthly, they mean calendar months.


So, although the lengths of months vary throughout the year, and although most cycles go for 28 days and not 30 or 31, these men seem to think women's bodies somehow know to synch up with the modern Gregorian calendar, and that every woman's periods take into account the shorter month of February, leap years, etc.
