Harrell can be a turbo-sperg sometimes (like destroying a gun he deigned to have a "design flaw", when the "flaw" was caused by him consciously refusing to tighten a screw), but I still like his brand of autism. That and he still has a sense of humor. His self-defense against X series, and his holiday specials, are good fun even when you have normies around. The wife even tried one of his thanksgiving recipes last year. That ham and yam thing? Actually pretty good.

You would never know who he was unless you've read about his exploits, as he never talks about his prior service other than his qualifications to pontificate on killing boomer gun myths. He comes off as a knowledgeable expert without having to talk down to the audience.

His breakdown of the Miami Shootout was probably the best one I've seen so far.

I'm new to guns, and guntubers, but what is this gay ass opinion that just because two people in the same line of work were close means that Ian is kneeling for trannies? There are plenty of people who I disagree with politically that I am cordial with for work purposes. Him being apolitical is evidence in my mind that he is at least center right, as keeping your politics out of your product is almost exclusively a right wing thing.

I wouldnt say thats entirely apt comparison. A lot of the content Ian and Karl did in the the past goes well beyond pure business and is very much lifestyle oriented such as the gun matches.

At the end of the day Ian cant escape nor should be escape(by no means am I saying Ian needs to be crucified or canceled) being so closely partnered with a degenerate like Karl. As I said in my above post, a very good lesson to be learned here about who you associate with. Especially when you your business revolves solely around you as a person.

I don't think Ian is going to openly disavow Karl, partially because he knows a good chunk of his viewers are also woke. It's just what happens when you cast a wide apolitical net. The outcry against the Azov book made it pretty clear. But it's also clear silently disengaging from Karl isn't enough. So he's probably going to be measuring his options very carefully or at least a couple of days, assuming he even decides to say or do anything beyond just deleting comments on his videos.

It was okay. He messed up a few things though. For example, some of the FBI agents had .357 revolvers, but he neglected to mention that the FBI approved load for them was, in fact, .38 Special +P. That irritated me when he was talking about bullet penetration. He knows from his own meat target tests that .357 Magnum does a hell of a lot more damage, and can penetrate farther, than .38 Special.

Overall, I like Harrel's content though.

I think he pretty much has. Somebody already pointed out he hasn't been a co-owner of InRange since 2021. Karl removed him from the corporate filings.
