The war is imposed on them by a much larger invader. They have to fight if they want their country and ethnic group to survive.
You don't, so you cheer on the Russians taking as much as possible and seethe at Ukraine for daring to resist and at the West for daring to supply them weapons.

What do you suppose I should say? "Surrender and let the Russians institute LNR/DNR concentration camp practices on you"? I didn't flee the East of Ukraine right away, you know. I know what "посадить на подвал" is and I know how electively it was done in those areas. Russian state, however, will methodically approach it and a lot of people, who may not even be Ukrainian government supporters will feel the brunt. I cannot in good conscience advocate for that.

This is not "my cause", this is me recognizing an existential threat to the country I'm from. No matter my feeling regarding my country, I will never cheer for its defeat.

I don't support biden and actively despise him. The fact that Russia invaded and the entire west is more or less united even the far right in sending arms is proof that even a good decision can trump ideological feeling's.
