Alright so I finally got the clips of the panel working. This is just a 30-secondish example from each of them that I think perfectly encapsulates the feelings they all had. Something about seeing them up-close is just gratifying and I hope you all get something from it. Without further ado I present:

Joe did his best to calm Nick down and play the voice of reason but alas.

Kurt was just reeking of discomfort and it seemed like his face got visibly redder as it went on.

Branca looked like he was physically searching for an exit the entire time.

This fucker was enjoying every second of it and it shows. My favorite by far.

Runkle, Gouveia, Sean, Emily, Peter Tragos, Barnes, and Joe (I think he used to) did/do trial practice
I think this is why Emily is doing way better than Nick in terms of viewership right now. She has a decade of experience as a deputy DA to draw from. When she discusses trials, she's able to say, "Here's how normal people think this process works. Here's how law school teaches you this process is supposed to work. Here's how it works in reality."

Nick has always been missing that last part. He has charisma, but so does Emily.

Except, she seems to actually like her kids, respect her spouse, and isn't allergic to hard work.

Holy shit Nick, please pull up. You have a lucrative streaming career in a relatively niche subject that you won't be elbowed out of any time soon. You have a family, a cute wife who takes care of herself, a big house, you're probably set for life.

This is literally just some FOMO bullshit, nobody regrets having an actual woman to bust nuts in rather than getting scabies from a sketchy rub 'n' tug. Nobody wakes up at 40 and says "wow I'm sure upset I started a family and contribute to my local community when I could have been a drugged up burnout this whole time".

Post a statement, say you've been stressed lately and turning 40 is messing with your head a bit and you've reacted to it all poorly, saying things you didn't really mean. Take a month off streaming, take your wife on a date that doesn't involve a balldo, and take some of the faggot dad advice you used to dish out.
Son, you have to let it go! This man no longer practices law, he now practices lol. And he's proven to be one of the finest lolyers the farms has had on retainer for quite some time, perhaps surpassing even the famous Russel Greer, esq. He's finally found his true calling.

Also none of that is an option, he tied himself down with a big family and now that he isn't pumping out children anymore he's lost interest and is getting real cagey at the idea that he's over the hill and stuck with this.
He doesn't find playing trad to be fun anymore at an age where it's normal to be practicing maturity and restraint. It's now life, not a larp, and he can't handle that.

This isn't a temporary state of being, it's now the ongoing documented story about how the former Mrs. Rekieta wound up as a single mother of 5. If people ask she'll say their father isn't around anymore, to avoid admitting he's probably in a dim sweat-smelling club somewhere getting high dressed up as a sissy.

Sorry former fans, but Rackets belongs to the detractors now. Nick Rekieta is the lolcow.

Of course Potentially Criminal loves it. He's a Kiwi. Probably a regular poster to this very thread.

That chatter during Nick's livestream wasn't lying. Branca was getting flashbacks to his first marriage.

There is no more reasonable denying, even for his most dedicated and loyal viewership that Nicholas Robert Rekieta has an unmanaged and damaging relationship with alcohol.

Above all else, it's a problem. Sad. You hate to see it.
Debatable.
It would be sad if his problems were the result of some horrible tragedy. If his wife or one of his kids had died in a tragic accident, and he took up drinking to cope, we'd feel some level of sympathy for him.

As far as I can tell, he's just a spoiled brat. I feel bad for his kids, but not Nick himself. His spiral is 100% self-inflicted.

Branca looked like he was physically searching for an exit the entire time.
I won't be shocked to see Branca hesitate on joining future episodes of Nick's stream, he probably will continue to coast out this trial, but never again, cause unlike Nick he is trying to sell a genuine product to help people understand the law whilst Nick gets pissfaced shit fucking drunk and screams at the camera. If you're trying to sell books and put yourself out there as a good defense attorney, that shit ain't it Chief.
Kurt was just reeking of discomfort and it seemed like his face got visibly redder as it went on.
You could tell he wants to laugh, but his professionality told him not to, cause Nick sounds like an utter psycho with his rant. The real question is is Kurt wanting to laugh at Nick or tell him to shut up.

The man who hates drama again starts drama to make money. $3709 on yt in 178 chats. Not so great on rumble though with the drama.

edit: Barnes is also super big on jury analysis. I wonder if that will cause any issues. He made a huge deal about it during Rittenhouse.
edit2: yt count was off 189->178

It was a joke. I highly doubt that the locals chat has the capabilities to either dox or DDOS you. I think the only one who might be able to would be Nick but that would require him to use his brain and money, but we all know he hates doing that.

Well, Panopticon is named after Panoptes... But locals itself, I would consider a proper panopticon since you do not know when others are looking, and thus compelled to act in lockstep with the greater whole.

lol Barnes was so butt hurt Ritchards didn't use his. But Ritchards got the lady who did JA for O.J. Fucking Simpson.

I gave up trying to fix my recording, but I downloaded Elissa's and clipped out the first time he talked about where he said he was sick of covering the trial, along with the apparent "happy ending" massage joke.

View attachment 4465305
Holy fuck that slight hesitation on "happy ending massages" is such a deafening sound, my sides are in orbit. He managed to catch that fuck up just after he got to the end of it and figured he should just roll with it since he can't take it back now and hope no one looks into it. This is somehow even more embarrassing than Bashurverse's spergout, and THAT is an accomplishment.

Honestly, I can't believe that out of all the grifters out there on Youtube and the like, Rekieta would be the one to lose his marbles over making free money online. I've only watched his stuff relating to lolcows like the DSP bankruptcy case and all of Null's appearances, and it seemed like he has a pretty good racket going on. Who fucking knew that watching lawyers do their job for real, in real life, for more money than those lawyers make, was the hardest job on the planet to the point he has a mental breakdown over not visiting the local glory hole in the past 2 days.

This Nick spergout is perfect. Someone with more creative video editing chops ought to put his rant side by side with one of Ralph's greatest hits rageouts and make an acapella mix.

I'm sure Branca is also second guessing wanting to sponsor Nick with the lawofselfdefense brand and even have him on as a guest speaker in one of the lectures. It was probably during one of the December 2022 streams where Branca talked about this. If someone knows the exact clip and wants to post it it would be another good side by side comparison to his reaction to his drunken rant.

None of his lawtube friends will abandon him unless he directly attacks him or is outed for something undefendable. A me too from a locals whore won't be that. They still seem to think that him making fucktons of money means he is successful. Rumble on the other hand is a weird one. They have nothing else as large as him streaming and yet he isn't on the front page. I am going to assume incompetence at this point but we'll see how it pans out.

Having had Andrew Dadesky of all people at his fake online law school as a lecturer, I doubt that Branca would care. On the other hand, it would've happened by now if Branca thought Nick's legal knowledge or work ethic was worth a damn. Above all, I think Branca is just in it because he understands branding and has a higher chance of getting business through Nick's audience. Because make no mistake, if Emily Baker's format included guests then he likely wouldn't be giving Nick the time of day.
