This is literally not true. The minimum wage has obviously not went down since 1978. My wage is at least double the hourly rate of then... If they're not just making shit up, it's compared to inflation, so the bottom numbers would be adjusted for inflation and the top ones wouldn't.

I like to think that in the case of Trump coming back to Twitter will be strategic.
