The solo article streams were terrible and I never watched them, but this seems uniquely bad. Nick's interjections are meaningless. Ralph streaming Tucker is unironically better, since at least Tucker has actual writers to provide some content.
Part of the reason his interjections seem meaningless is because you have Joe to compare against. It's why flash seems even more retarded on flashcast when he interrupts good conversations.

edit:
Tonight's stream was $230 in 27(1 7 rants. No viewer stats as it's using data from a backup collector. There is an edgecase error that is a pain to debug.

I think he is fed up with alot more than just legal analysis. That was just one of the rants from the end of last year. He hates living where he lives. He is mad that having children ruined his wife's body. He is mad about being kept so busy by other people (in his opinion). He is mad about having been denied the drug and debauched life he thinks he deserved. And he is convinced that his life is basically just about over.

At this point, it would not shock me if he walked out on his wife and children. I think he really wants to.
Man, when you lay it out like that it sounds fucking grim.

This man is on the verge of a major meltdown. Hope for his sake it's just a drunken degenerate episode or something and we don't get a Chris Watts arc from Nick.

Recently, I started to see some retarded bits of speculation on "why Nick and Drexel started hanging out together/why Nick keeps him around" such as this one. In case you're new here, let me explain: Nick and Drex knew of each other since early middle school, and became friends shortly after. Funny as that would be, I don't think that 11-year-old Drexy-poo became friends with 12-year-old Nicky-poo for "access to white cheerleaders."
So you’ve never seen someone buddy up with someone from grade school when they got to high school once they have something to offer? Like having a car? He had an in with Nick, who suddenly had something he coveted. I’ve known tons of people that tolerated the first kid to have a car just to go get fast food at lunch, people they fucking despised previously. The sad part is the sped is just so happy to finally get some attention they will do anything just to feel accepted, coincidentally the same reason fat ugly white bitches will fuck niggers that fleece them.

The jury analysis shit is almost always retarded, but Nick's chimpout is still gay as shit. Holy hell man, don't have a spergout like an 7 year old.
Unless a jury member is clearly visually emoting about some pivotal piece of testimony/evidence, the "analysis" is generally worthless. And even in those instances I don't trust an autist to be able to correctly deduce what emotion the jury member was likely showing.

Sounds like a midlife crisis to me...

I think we are on a slow burn unless something major happens on locals or the meetup. He did a speedrun at first but has actually pulled up after he started making money from the Crowder drama and now the trial. The real test will be the next dry spell. In the past people just tuned out and back in when he had content but he now has detractors and those are even in his safespaces.

how many times has Rekeita been in court? I know theres always been lots of jokes and memes about how "if he represented someone fighting a speeding ticket they would get the electric chair" but I'm curious if there is some sort of ledger or just documentation in general that one could look up regarding a lawyer's case history. I haven't followed him closely but everything I hear about him makes him seem like an unprofessional faggot. He went to a z-list law school and his claim to fame is giving that anime guy bad legal advice?

Oh and I always assumed Drexel was a lawyer too, and that was the whole point of having him on the show too. Turns out he's just a random nigger who might not even have a job? holy shit lol.
See for yourself. Linking results directly doesn't work, so click "Criminal/Traffic/Petty" or "Civil/Family/Probate" and search by attorney: Rekieta, Nicholas. He's done a dozen cases in either category, most between 2016-2018 and none after June 2021. As Nick said himself, he's never had to take a case to trial (except that one time he substituted for a different attorney for a bit), everything being sorted via settlements or plea agreements. So, he has been to court, and his W/L record isn't too bad, but his trial experience is nonexistent.

There are ways to look up Nick's case history, but I think they cost money.
Edit: No they don't. See above.

One thing you can say is that because he was a small-town lawyer, and thus, had to take basically every case that came to his door, he's got some knowledge in a broad spectrum of topics. From drafting wills and negotiating contracts to child custody, drug possession and embezzlement. Gosney being surprised the other day at Nick's knowledge about structuring trusts reminded me of the fact that Nick used to know quite a bit about quite a lot.

Of course, it's all moot now, as he's not done any legal work an almost 2 years, hates doing legal commentary down to the very concept of it, and the alcoholism has erased at least some of the knowledge, but hey. There was something good there for a while.

I gave up trying to fix my recording, but I downloaded Elissa's and clipped out the first time he talked about where he said he was sick of covering the trial, along with the apparent "happy ending" massage joke.

That wasn't a joke. He lost control of himself and started saying what he really thinks, and he fucking knew in the insant he said it he'd fucked up and revealed what a fucking letch he is despite all his protests to the contrary.
That's why it was the only point in the Hollerin' he caught himself but it was too late.

Who fucking knew that watching lawyers do their job for real, in real life, for more money than those lawyers make, was the hardest job on the planet to the point he has a mental breakdown over not visiting the local glory hole in the past 2 days.
There's no way he's making more money than some of those lawyers.
DA's maybe but defense guys bill hundreds or thousands an hour.
He certainly didn't make more than whatever the fuck Depp was paying his team, they were getting 2000 a fucking hour I think.

If you are talking about filings and transcripts, sure. But if you want to look up his case history, it's free. Plus, I've attached both criminal and civil histories to the OP of the Montagraph v. Rekieta thread.

Lawyer billable hours typically aren't the full 40 a week, but it still definitely gets very lucrative in the right spots. I don't know about 1.2 million in a year not eclipsing at least most of their salaries though. He had some individual streams earn in the tens of thousands range, iirc.
1.2 million is getting toward partner money, but it's often not a salary at that point, but a cut of the firm's profits. Nick isn't going to be a partner anywhere, and neither are most lawtubers.

Both Viva and Barnes have publicly noped out of the meetup opting to (very wise, sage-like even) do their own gathering. Viva mentioned it a day or two ago on one of his streams, up until this point I'd only known of Barnes. I went and checked the eventbrite listing and sure enough, all guest names have been dropped, with a pathetic note about how he'd list names once HARD confirmations were made. LOL. Poor Nick, let this be a lesson of how hard the mighty can (and do) fall. Perhaps he can fill a swimming pool with balldos to help cushion the impact.

Are you sure you saw names mentioned on that page previously? Because I'm sure I looked at it long before Viva and Barnes noped out and there were no names and language about adding names as soon as there were confirmations. Did he add start adding names, realized he jumped the gun and removed them, adding "HARD" to the sentence? That would be quite pathetic/hilarious if true.

I recall seeing names somewhere, I didn't screen shot or archive it though, unfortunately.

Off all days, you choose a Sunday night? Must have been the cheapest day to rent the venue.
I took this screenshot the day it was posted (at least the first time it was mentioned here) and there were no names then either. The talk about who was going probably happened in the locals chat because I definitely remember talk of Coomalot going, as well as something about Viva/Barnes.

I believe someone broke down the list of names here based on what Nick was saying on stream at the time. I remember that list having Joe as a possibility but I was doing some digging for a separate clip and came across Joe talking about Vegas and he is almost certainly not going to show up. He does a good job explaining why it is going to be a gross disaster as well, without trying. This compilation comes before the events of yesterday, by the way.

As an aside, there seems to be quite a lot of envy and bitterness boiling below the surface of Lawtube and it would explain a lot of the behavior we are seeing in general. There's a lot you can pick up on in this clip but what stands out to me the most is his comment about Emily "Leap Frogging" over the other panelists. That should have been HIS success! HE was the one who was supposed to surpass Nick! We've been speculating on when/if these people were going to turn against each other and I think this indicates that there is going to be a feeding frenzy once enough blood is in the water. The content from watching how Nick handles this inevitability has the potential to be the most fun thing he's ever produced.

I realize that I'm quoting myself here, but could it be one of these posts?
<...>
Also, Nick lists out some of the people who are/are not coming to the LV meetup: Branca (confirmed), Masterson (confirmed), Coomalot331 (confirmed), The Lead Attorney (looks like), Nate the Lawyer (might), Eric Hunley (might), Robert Barnes (may), Mark Rober (may), Da... hang on, the YT pop engineering guy? What's he got to do with Rekieta? Eh, he probably meant Marc Randazza. Anyway, on with the list. Dani Ahn (he believes), Lady Rackets (ew), Uncivil Law (is not coming), Legal Bytes (is not invited), Attorney Tom (maybe, not sure yet).
<...>
<...>
Dick Masterson (confirmed), The Lead Attorney (now confirmed), Robert Barnes (now confirmed), Viva Frei (confirmed), Eric Hunley (now confirmed), Mark Groubert (now confirmed), Nate the Lawyer (now confirmed), Dani "WGFD" Ahn (now confirmed), Attorney Tom (easily overlooked still not confirmed), Good Lawgic (might). So apparently all the maybes agreed to come.
I'm going to go with "the language about confirmations was on the page from the beginning and Nick never changed it one way or the other" for now.
