Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

So what do you guys think will be Chris' next super expensive frivolous purchase? We know he already bought a nearly $500 lego Ghostbusters set, so what's next for him?

If I had to guess, I would say probably some other ridiculous Lego, set but other than Lego, I'm going to guess he's going to want to buy Fortress Maximus

Why do I guess this? Well, as far as we know, Chris has slowed down on his purchasing of Transformers, however, we do know that last year, he spent nearly $200 to get the Devastator giftset from the Combiner Wars series (but as far as I can tell, he hasn't bought any of the other figures from that series). So it seems to me that he likes having big toys. I dunno, maybe he incorporates them into his little roleplay of Lego CWCville, and if that is the case, this toy will be something I could totally see him shelling out the cash for.

By the way, This toy is going to retail for about $250, last time I checked
Still waiting on the Giant neon green figure the size of a small child to show up in a video. If he gets this I Don't want to see it absorbed by the hoard. I definitely want to see it in the background, because the thing's expression looks like it's just sad and/or mildly angry.

I don't give a shit what Chris buys with his tugboat unless people are sending him free money to "troll" him. That and when it's funny shit. I kinda actually wanna see a massive blue depressed looking robot man in the back of his videos. Even better let him mod it and we might just have another awesome relic like the sonic totem. Nothing will ever top the sonic totem though, it is sacred and simultaneously accursed. it survived the fire and it will most likely survive long after Chris has passed.

I know a guy who didn't work for nearly 14 years: he just mooched off people. Then he worked part-time (three hours a day) as a janitor at Gander Mountain in Toledo for seven years until he quit that for..... unemployment and living off his wife. He married a deparate libraian who treats him like a child. Dude's nearly 50. And nearly incapable of acting like an adult (for example, he considers one class a week as a community college tough. Routinely he will post about how difficult his college is.) Essentially Lodge is Chris if Chris managed to get his ideal heartsweet. The similarities are definately there. This guy also once drank two twelve packs of ginger beer in 24 hours. He was screaming about how he couldn't sleep at three in the morning after that. Even better his wife cooed him back to sleep. This was at an event that turned out to be the last he came to with me and my buddies.

No, he's not mentally disabled. He even served in the Navy (until they kicked him out).
Damn, what a rotten punk!

Never heard of Gander Mountain before myself (haven't been around the Holland area much). I suppose reading this makes me feel glad to have a job at all right now (washing dishes at a gastro pub).

Chris' work and education history are not what make him unique. Chris has an associates degree. Yeah it took him way too long, but he still has a level of education which is slightly above the median.

He has barely worked. That is unusual but not unique. Largely a factor of his own laziness, but he is not the only lazy person out there. A decent chunk of that can be blamed on some holes in the SSDI system, and that system applies to everyone. Chris is responding somewhat logically to a system.

Not working ever doesn't make you a lolcow. At most, you turn out like your friend, and the people who know you laugh at you a little. The things that make Chris special are way different than that. The education and work history just form a back story for him.

Lately, there have been a lot of rumors about Chris abandoning Sonichu forever. I know he has been selling amiibos and his older comics (without counting the medallions) over the internet and constantly e-begging for money.

But recently a lot of people who have claimed to "talk" to him n stuff say that he's planning to forget about our beloved hero and just let the thing die. Sadly, I cannot confirm if this is real or not hence he hasn't talked about it. The last thing I saw about him was some some business offer but unrelated to Sonichu.

So I came here to Kiwi Farms, the place that keeps an eye out for him the most, to ask... Is it true? Is he gonna let the series die?

If he is, then damn it, just when it was getting good!

realistically, sonichu has been dead content-wise for years. but i doubt chris would just let go of his beloved sons and daughters and the world he created just like that. regardless of whether there's any more sonichu stuff made public, it makes up a significant part of chris' mind scape. that being said, there's been no sign of him either going back to the series or letting it drop either.

Haven't heard of anything of the like, though Chris probably wouldn't abandon Sonichu (the concept in his head anyways) since that's such a huge part of his life and identity. The comics on the other hand he more or less has abandoned long ago and the merchandise he'll probably abandon now that he's realized it requires him to keep a steady stream of work going and Chris hates work.

Stop right here. Incredible claims require credible evidence.

Just to give a quick thought though, no, I do not believe Chris will abandon Sonichu. Just over a week ago, he made a business proposition to Sega for Sonichu merchandise and et cetera: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/chris-livestream-5-14-16.20716/

Chris can't abandon Sonichu. Its too much a part of his identity. At several points in history, he's said stuff that implies Sonichu is one of the voices in his head. It'd be like saying he's going to abandon poor impulse control or a sense of entitlement. Its at best, good ol' crazy, and at worst, a level of introspection he ain't gonna attain.

The comics and assorted shit he thinks will get him money on the other hand, he'll probably stop giving a fuck about once his finances hit equilibrium (what passes for him) again. Only to come back out once he needs a new life upgrade.

I don't know. I still heard a lot of people say it. But, none of them support evidence so it's false at best. Just wanted to ask you guys hence you're the ones who keep a closer eye on him than anyone else.

No one talking to Chris is sharing it online.

At least here, but a lot of pages I follow did it.
People also believe that Liquid was Matthew Devoria. (Edit: I'm sure a bunch of people will reply to this saying "... wait, he wasn't??".)
