Interacting with online transgender communities is the best way to become transphobic.

I'm starting to see my normie friends who never cared too much about what adults did to themselves so long as they were good people become straight-up fundamentalist anti-tranny activists as a result of all this nonsense. It probably doesn't help that I'm around university students all the time either, as the majority of my classmates and the classmates my friends have are all deeply mired in internet culture like every other person in our retarded generation.

So not only do I have to see people whining about inconsequential stuff online, I have to hear about it in person as well. If it doesn't stop soon, we're gonna end up with an entire generation of people whose eyes have been opened to the lunacy of the average troon. Can't wait honestly.

I used to use Tumblr, which should say enough. It was an embarrassing time in my life, but at least I can say I still was "transphobic" back then, if tolerance was/is still considered that. By tolerance I mean I think about it whenever I see someone post about it online or if someone clearly looks like a transgender, but honestly they can do whatever they want and I can't really stop them.
Seeing all that transgender "support" really changes you, it makes you feel like you're the insane one and you have to remember that it's really the opposite and whatever community you're in is probably an echo chamber.
A few days ago I saw someone who was clearly a woman with a "he/him" pin and I had to remind myself that I'm near university students and this is "normal" there. I only know a few people who are definitively not supportive/don't care about this transgender stuff and thanks to them I can have a reasonable conversation every once in a while. I guess only God knows what's gonna happen in the future when they all have children (if they ever do).

Isn't this game set in the 1800s? What the hell is a transgender doing in the 1800s? You'd probably get shamed being transgender right now, let alone almost 200 years ago. Hell, you'd probably get run out of town or killed for being transgender, considering mental health institutions were worse back then.

It does seem like women are getting the brunt of the harassment. It's obvious that the Incel to Troon pipeline is real, and has been active for years. And old habits die hard for them.

The funniest part is that Sirona actually is the best representation they've gotten in an AAA game so far.

They're a well-respected member of the community who runs a successful business. They have friends, people like them, and they're happy. They also pass well enough to look just like a normal person in the HP world. Their voice doesn't even sound bad either. Sure, it's obviously a man's, but it's not annoying, or creepy like Lantern-Jaw Liz's is. It's just a man's which makes sense considering they're trans, and people in the HP World probably wouldn't even bat an eye at it anyways because there's so much weirder shit going on.

Honestly, they should be grateful because Avalanche could've easily made them so much worse considering the current shitstorm going on, and how diversity attempts often backfire spectacularly in this day, and age due to dev incompetence.
