Ron needs to toughen up if he wants to run next year

Personally I think he doesn't want to until 2028 and is being pushed to do so now by people who want him to fight Trump for them and don't care what happens to him so long as he hurts Trump

I am of a similar opinion. It just doesn't quite look or feel right that he is going against Trump now and in this way. If he was serious about running in 2024 he would be gathering his strength with more PR wins and actions and leave for the attacks on Trump to begin only when the GOP primaries actually start, not now where he might alienate the firmer pro-Trump people and the hardcore MAGA. Unless of course the main objective is not his election but the stopping of Trump, on which case this does make sense.

I would not put it past the Bushes, Cheneys, McCains and Romneys of the GOP to be doing this and manipulating or bribing Ron into it. They would rather kill Trump and his entire base than have to "lower" themselves to actually standing by their core voters and have actual principles and love for the USA as a nation instead of "haha profit margins go up fuck everything else".

DeSantis legally can't be Trump VP since since they both are residents of the state of FL. (Pres & VP have to be from different States).
