I mean, in the books, when shit was going down around Hogwarts the Ministry still stepped in. They usually didn't know the full story and made things worse, but they tried. Here, Goblin encampments are terrorizing the land, blowing shit up and dropping trolls on Hogsmeade and somehow so many people you meet are going "Goblin Rebellion? That's just rumors, innit?"

Wife is currently playing - had to buy it off of a second hand site (ty based CD Keys, I use ya all the time anyway) because the Internet made her feel guilty for wanting to play a video game. The occasional glances I get of the game look okay - graphically it's really pretty at least. Just a typical looking AAA game, but with a license.

I think this game would have just came and went (though Potter fans woulda loved it, definitely) without much noise if there weren't endless complaints. It'd have a life of something like One Piece Odyssey. The fans play it, they think it's "good for a game based on an anime a book" and then they move on. But nah, the alphabets doomed themselves with the constant screeching.

For the first couple of months or so. When the dev remove Deuvo (most do since the cost to keep it the license going isn't worth it any more) then we get to have some fun shit.

On Xbox and I assume PS5, if you are tracking a quest and press up on D pad, it will show you where to go. There is probably something like that on PC as well. Plus once you walk around enough places, fast travel opens up.

It's a foolish "gotcha" that the usual types are all trying to do. Okay, so I know the spoiler. So what? There's a whole game for me to still experience. It's a retarded argument that boils down a story to just the twist and throws all the other things you engage with from the gameplay to the act of honing your skills.

This would be like telling someone whose never seen Breaking Bad that "Walter dies at the end" and the person is just like, "Now that I know this, I don't need to watch any of it."

The troons shouting this are going for the 'Snape Kills Dumbledore' effect which they'd only know if they were rabid fans back when that book came out.

There's also the big bright yellow spotted line on the mini-map leading you by the nose directly to your current objective without any button press needed.

Imagine the dub the troons could've pulled off with this game had they shut their mouths.

This game is undeniably "diverse", including trans rep, and it's getting great scores, and breaking records. Had they shut the fuck up, they could've used it to engender so much love from normies..

But no. They HAVE to sperg our and try to ruin a woman they used to love, just because she didn't fall in line with the dogma. And now? Normies are more pissed off at them than ever. Great job guys. (you'll never be women.)

Hey, on the bright side, if you kill yourselves, that percentage will be breaking records too.

Well, in-game it's minorly pro-tranny, with a tranny character, ability to make a male model character a "witch", independant selection of dorm gender, and refusal to use any gendered pronouns...
I wonder if they just used the pronoun thing as an excuse to be lazy and not record two sets of dialogue, or if there was a mad dash after the tranny blowback to record a bunch of lines with "they" in them instead of he or she.
The voice changer, at the very least, was slapped on at the end and is ridiculous. I could have pitched up and down the voices better in audacity.
