Hogwarts Legacy - Harry Potter open world RPG (no trannies allowed)

As much as I like this game, I cannot stand these dumb UI decisions. I have never seen egregious uses of sliders in my goddamn life. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to have a slider for skin tone and hair color, especially when it impossible to put either of those on a sliding scale? What if I want to pick between two or three of those options? Am I supposed to remember which exact position out of twenty to thirty and be able to select it with accuracy with a cursor controlled by my joy stick? Why can't I just be shown the available colors in a neatly presented swatch?
You see the same slider with the complexion and freckles & moles option. And its not like on the far left is no freckles and the far right is the most freckles- the option for most freckles is in fourth position out of ten! The latter six are moles in various places. The correct way to display these options is to have images tiled that highlight what the options are - which they do for the scars section which is right below the freckles & mole slider. Seriously, the UI designer needs to be taken out back for the sliders in the character creation alone.
Navigating menus on a controller is so slow tedious with this goddamn joystick navigated cursor. Having a cursor for the map makes sense, but it is not needed for the settings, inventory, quests, challenges, etc. Your game will feel more responsive and snappier if you just did with a highlight over your available tiles like everyone else.
To overwrite a save file you must hold down A. I don't know about you but that's fucking weird as almost everyone else opts for a pop up window that asks "are you sure?". I have almost accidentally not saved because of this. Like it's just unconventional and weird.
I really could go on about the retarded UI choices in this game. I think this is where the lack of experience of this game studio really shows.

Also, the alternate pitches for the voices are not mixed well. Every option besides the middle choices sound very grainy and robotic.

There's also the big bright yellow spotted line on the mini-map leading you by the nose directly to your current objective without any button press needed.
Yes, but the on-screen line makes it even easier. Mini-maps are hard.
Also, I didn't find a way to lock the mini-map to north-up, so that's a bit annoying.

Well, in-game it's minorly pro-tranny, with a tranny character, ability to make a male model character a "witch", independant selection of dorm gender, and refusal to use any gendered pronouns...
I wonder if they just used the pronoun thing as an excuse to be lazy and not record two sets of dialogue, or if there was a mad dash after the tranny blowback to record a bunch of lines with "they" in them instead of he or she.
The voice changer, at the very least, was slapped on at the end and is ridiculous. I could have pitched up and down the voices better in audacity.
I feel like the character creator was kept as basic as possible to save money and time that went into designing Hogwarts. Say whatever we will about the game, the school itself is by far the best thing this game has going for it.

Besides, while nothing will ever come close to the Oblivion character creator, imagine the Troon Abominations we could make if any game made something like that…
Imagine the dub the troons could've pulled off with this game had they shut their mouths.
The lack of self awareness and knowing when to shut the fuck up is the Troons biggest weakness. If they didn’t feel the need to loudly ree at anyone who fails their purity test, they’d be in a much better position.

As is, nothing does more damage to the Trans Community than the Trans Community.

So far four confirmed lesbians in the game. The only ostensibly straight woman so far is dead before the game even begins and was a dead-egger.

It's at the point I don't know how Harry Potter is supposed to exist. This is extinction level homosexuality, a sapphic snuffing of the entire wizard world.

Some of the decisions in the game definitely smack of a person growing up on tumblr who made of list of how they'd fix all of Harry Potter's sins.

nah lesbians are the natural state for magic users, they just do "expecto spermum" and reproduce that way

it's the males that are abberations, tbh

Wife is currently playing - had to buy it off of a second hand site (ty based CD Keys, I use ya all the time anyway) because the Internet made her feel guilty for wanting to play a video game.
CDKeys is not a second-hand site, my man. How do you think second-hand digital codes would work? But don't tell that to your wife, I guess.

I honestly have no clue what Robert "bobsheaux" Thomas sees in her anymore. It can't even be something as superficial as the pussy. Since they live miles away from each other and almost never see other in person. (both on the west coast though, no surprise there)

Was gonna post this in Twitter autism but that board is a dead horse board.
LMAO! As if gamers play games for the story. Most gamers want to play a game like Hogwarts Legacy for the gameplay and open world exploration. I just love how all these tranny faggots refuse to let others have fun. Everything has to be political with them. I just love the fact that this game showed the cold reality to trannies. That is that the world hates them. We are tired of their autistic screeching over the slightest thing. The fact that they have politicians on their side like Rep. Zooey Zephyr saying that damn right there should be a list of people who buy the game and that trannies need to go out and hold these people accountable in their real life just shows how batshit insane this has all become.

It's more like the world hates these screaming man babies that stomp there feet and scream and cry at everything. They just cop opted tranny shit like they did with the gays/lesbos. These people don't care about real transgender people, nor about what they have done that screwed over the real ones. I feel bad for the real ones who have to deal with extra prejudice because of these nutjobs making everyone of them seem like really insane people by just association alone. Kind of like how Black lives matter has hurt black community because of all the riots.

Wish these nuts would stop with the bullshit, but that's just a pipe dream.

Using the wrong terminology I think, sorry. They're a key reseller aren't they? So it's a sale that's already been made in a different region. It's like buying used since you're not giving the developer/publisher money directly. Though, fully willing to admit I'm retarded on this one.

This would be like telling someone whose never seen Breaking Bad that "Walter dies at the end"
Ah, fuck.
My fault for taking so long to start watching it

The troons shouting this are going for the 'Snape Kills Dumbledore' effect which they'd only know if they were rabid fans back when that book came out.
The best part is a lolcow ("Sophie Labelle") tried to spoil the plot of the game in his latest comic, and after reading it I've legitimately forgotten what the spoilers even were, cause if you aren't already playing the game none of the character names are recognisable.

Funny thing is, the UI is almost 1:1 that of the modern (bad) Assassin's Creed games. Like, literally down to having a wheel in the bottom right of on-demand abilities with cooldowns. Often you'd end up just running in circles and spamming light attacks, waiting for the heavy hitters to unlock. Odyssey had this two-handed hammer move with adrenaline that made you invincible for cinematic effect as you chained 4-5 kills together. It's all I did towards the end.

Shit, unlocking the look of an item while not wearing it (and holding the stick to delete the item) is again straight out of the "so modern it lost all style" Ass Creed games. It's almost satirical how 1:1 iti s.

Seeing a lot of people make this comparison. Haven't played an "Ass Creed" game since 2009 myself so I guess the UI isn't as triggering for me as it is for some people.

On Xbox and I assume PS5, if you are tracking a quest and press up on D pad, it will show you where to go. There is probably something like that on PC as well. Plus once you walk around enough places, fast travel opens up.
There is a quest tracker and a pathing feature that will shine a gold light towards the objective (in the game, not just the map) if you are lost on PC. I feel no shame in admitting that I have used the "show me the path to my objective" a few times as it's really fucking easy to get lost in the castle and besides, I am a wizard-in-training so I should be using wizard shit

Anyone else experiencing the occasional soft crash where you're supposed to be able to move past a point and the game just sticks at that point but you can still pan the camera around, you still hear the music, but the character stops responding to any input and the only thing you can do is force close the game?
