What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

GRS has increasingly turned to making pieces about things like corporate corruption. I wouldn’t say they’re super-political, he might critique aspects of the system, but I never feel like he’s pushing the left or right.

I find his constantly grumpy schtick a bit wearing sometimes. And I have to say, I wish he’d do more film and TV-related videos. What got me into him was the fact that he had intelligent takes on film and that he’d talk about unusual stuff I’d never heard of. He was the only film YouTuber I saw who came up with a decent analysis of the failure of Ghostbusters 2016 that didn’t boil down to “GET WOKE GO BROKE” or “BASEMENT-DWELLING CHUDS!”

I stopped watching John Wolfe a long time ago because he got boring...but now he did a charity stream dressed as the RE8 Vampire lady and got upset because he lost hundreds of subscribers because of it. What a whiny fag. I think he is going to troon out sooner or later. He already has long hair now and earrings.

You're absolutely correct. I used to enjoy Rap Critic's videos but predictably, ever since the 2016 election, his reviews started going downhill and began to get more political.

Some YouTube channels I've shed mostly come from the fact I don't find the time to watch their content anymore (like Game Grumps or Cinema Sins).
Others like like Rooster Teeth flat out pissed me off. Ironically, they've been a burning landfill fire marred by controversy ever since.
Team Four Star killed their golden goose, so I unsubbed.

Used to watch the reaction channel Blind Wave until they contracted white guilt after George Floyd, dumped them right after that. After the Supreme Court abortion decision they did a charity Twitch stream for the National Abortion Fund which confirmed I made the right call.

I did not know they did that.

Smii7y and Kryoz are usually a lot better. The guy who grates me the most right now is Blarg/Matt for being too political. Soup brings much needed edginess to the channels and is currently my favorite.

I notice the entire pace of everyone laughing at dumb shit stops the moment Blarg starts speaking. Everyone wants to move on from the current topic, but dude won't shut the fuck up, and he keeps going. Soup is funny, but there are times where he's just as bad as Blarg in beating a bit to death.

Then came across her bitching about Sigmund Freud and homosexuality in her SH2 video cause it wasn't current year, genderqueer, something stupid and stopped listening. Came across another video of her today and it showed what she looked like, this is like the third fucking dyke/tranny that puts together decent retrospectives on old survival horror games that I've encountered this year.

The bitchy librarian with dyke hairstyle combo is eye poison. Not as irritating as sphere hunter, but low energy snarkyness isn't pleasant either. Only watched her videos because she had an interested SH1 history video with some updated news on how the team made the first game.

Not sure why the faggotss and diet soda fags seem to be so attracted to survival horror, but I'd prefer they stayed away. I'm sure its the body horror they're attracted too.

I get that YouTube guidelines don’t want to harm or affect any small children or parents of small children from seeing things that would harm their psyche, but sometimes the people that do this kind of stuff just do it to overdramatize certain run of the mill situations that don’t even sound as harmful as one would think.

Especially if the cases in question turned out to be threatening attempts or false accusations being made towards the parties who tried to defame other people out of jealousy or spite.

I had to stop watching a Transformers reviewer recently. His name was Perspectiveend, and he was actually a pretty funny reviewer: He held Hasbro accountable despite them being the official owners, some of the toys he featured were pretty awesome-looking, both Hasbro and third-party, and his hyperactive, fast style resulted in some pretty energetic, and informative, videos.

Then came his video on the February 2023 Hasbro announcements, and suddenly, after commenting on how the baby Rhinox toy looked like a space jockey/Engineer from Alien and Prometheus, he began to not only say that Prometheus was a good film (okay), but he then said "The only reason people hate it is because it's not a direct prequel to an AWFUL HORROR MOVIE!" and went into full "trash the classics" mode and devoted a chunk of runtime to ranting about how "Alien was an awful movie full of characters too stupid to live".

OF ALL. THE AUTISTIC. HOLIER-THAN-THOU. BULLSHIT.... There's a time and a place for retarded hot takes on particular pieces of media with an "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude. A video on transforming puzzle-robot toys is definitely NOT that time. He wasn't even a good sport about it, he just went into full snarky asshole "seriously trash the classic" mode. I unsubscribed and stopped watching during the tirade.

I think they delete any comments that criticized them for their turn over a year ago. I unsubbed because as soon as you see the cracks of political commentary in a hobby, you need to just get the fuck out. It never reverses itself, and you are better off telling them in comments you are unsubbing and to stick to the channels topic. They'll make other excuses ( the algorithm ), but you may cause other people to notice the commentary more and also unsub.
