I'm not backing down from the fact the US military, with modern weaponry and battle experienced commanders got BTFO by the Chinese at the Yalu River.
Marines like Chesty Puller, who executed an astounding retreat from Chosin under fire and saved his Marines, became a legend in Korea. Never once did I disparage the USMC or Army, or our soldiers that fought there, but if you intend to break the cycle of disastrous elective foreign wars and interventions then you need look at these events with a critical eye.
