Actually had some time to listen to gay pants stream.

Not quite news, but from what convention runners told Mr. Lasagna, Funi actors are afraid to do convention appearances with him. Not because they're afraid he'll go ultra rape mode, but because people who have a grudge against him hold power over the voice actors.

I'm not surprised by this.
It just enforces the fact that there is a clique in Crunchyroll and they wield power like a cudgel over newcomers and those who aren't in the clique.
It's another reason why the industry cannot be coalesced under a Sony monopoly.
Something has to give.
I'll cautiously watch how AM Studios fairs, but time will tell if they'll flop or they will provide a viable option for those who don't want to bend the knee to the clique.
In otherwords, if AM Studios or some other emerging studio comes around starts digging into Crunchyroll's market share, then Weeb Wars will become a corporate battleground. Brand warfare, but with more cutthroat intentions. Make no mistake - it will be ugly.
