With Contra's video output I think Chube will outpace him pretty quickly unless Contra detransitions publicly or OD's. Chube has made Contra retroactively less gross, annoying, and stupid in comparison and is a much bigger draw.

Agreed. He's objectively a bigger lolcow - being so much stupider and generally more embarrassing - than Contra, plus he's far more active online, plus he's deep into his pretentious thespian arc. Olly's only seven pages behind anyway.

Contra is milked dry. He has at most one more video in him before he OD’s. He posted a clip from a patreon video to his twitter and he was nodding off, speaking at a pace of about ten words per minute. I low-key always enjoyed his ostentatious fuckup schtick, so I say this without any malice: I don’t see Contra living through this.

Ollie, however, lacks the affinity for self-destruction because he has no self. He is going to keep us entertained for years to come. He will only get more fun to watch as he leaves his 20’s behind and his big acting break continues to elude him.

The bar is rather low for academia these days, at least in the US but I daresay that having to interact with normal humans, being held to some sort of external standard and not being showered in attention and praise for existing are the real reasons he would not deign to enter academia.

Tbh I don't blame him for choosing to be able to make money and do whatever he likes with his time over academia, though. Many graduate students would probably make a deal with satan himself to be able to pontificate on whatever subject caught their fancy to a (mostly) adoring audience of millions without having to worry about submitting papers on time or dealing with turnitin.

Weirdly unflattering picture here. The styling doesn't work for someone with big manly features, the hair is too flat and dry but also weirdly greasy looking (and there's something peculiar going on in the parting) and the too-tight vest just emphasises the huge manly gulf between his moobs. He's slouching and pulling a face, too, which doesn't help.

Ollie is capable occasionally of looking decent, if not exactly passable, but his stylist is determined to style him like Britney Spears and it just makes him look even more mannish.

Of course, it's not exactly unknown for lonely nerds to make their player character a woman in a revealing outfit. No one looking at that picture without context would immediately assume the player was a girl, would they? They'd assume it was the work of a horny basement-dweller.
