Pro tip (actually might be obvious, but I only noticed it after ten hours): you can change your appearance independently of your equipment, so you can always equip the things with the best stats while still looking however you want. And all the clothing items you've found always remain available to wear, even if you sell or destroy the actual equipment pieces.

If only I didn't have to reapply it every single fucking time I equip a new piece of gear.

It noticeably improved things to me - before my 3060 had to play it on low with ugly stuttering from time to time, after updating I can run medium-high and have much, much smoother experience. It's really good, but not a fix-all resolving all issues, the game seems to leak memory at places. Also heads up - fixes people post on r*ddit are mostly placebo (they experience better performance because well, they restarted the game which temporarily "fixed" memory leaks) or have any noticeably difference if you hardware was really shitty.

My wife got home from work and proceeded to play this until 2AM last night. Every woman (of her generation) in her family is playing this right now. Women that I could never see playing video games have gone and picked up Xboxs and Playstations just for this, its kind of shocking. All anecdotal, but it feels like the Pokemon Go release, where just the most unexpected people are playing. It helps that the combat and puzzles are just easy enough for almost anyone to play, and that transmog is in right out of the gate. Null was right on his stream, theres a whole generation that will pour money into any DLC that comes out for this.

That there is the magic of gaming, how it brings people together, even those who don't play Games, to experience another world and enjoy it.
You know, ignoring the Tranny shit in this game, and the lack of White skin colour, I'm glad that this is the game people are enjoying, that are bringing in Casuals and showing them the wonder of it all.
Just think about it, you don't play games but you see this cool Open World based on Harry Potter, with all the Magic and Broom riding, that would be a fantastic first time experience for someone with Games.
Just seeing all that potential and creativity from not only the Franchise of Harry Potter, but combined with the Medium of gaming? That there for Casuals, is pure magic.

I'm jaded when it comes to games, so for me personally it's just another Open world game but Harry Potter themed (and I've never been into Harry Potter, that was more my brothers), but hearing how so many people are enjoying it, and loving it, despite it just being that, brings warmth to this cold heart of mine.

Treasure this moment my friend, because not only does this shit on trannies, but more importantly, it's bringing everyone closer.
Those who like Harry Potter, those who like Gaming, and those who hate Trannies.

You know. I set the game to high with the previous drivers so I may need to tweak some things like turning off RTX shadows and some shit like that...
I got so used to other games just working fine with high on everything for the longest time that I kinda forgot I may need to tweak things every now and then lol.

When Null got to the boss of the first 'Trial' and it was a giant knight statue that responded to reaching 75% health by just spontaneously gaining a cloak of BLACK FIRE, that was absolutely a Souls boss moment.

But I do agree, transmog out of the gate so you aren't forced to look like a doufus just because of stats absolutely makes it more accessible. Hell, the fact all the NPCs have reactions specifically to the player character wearing nothing but a one-piece pajama outfit is pretty damn funny and shows the devs knew people were going to do it.

Same. I'll likely pick it up in two weeks once some stuff in real life is resolved. Obviously the gender ombibus can't judge that game fairly and I feel like some people will overrate the game because it makes trannies mad.

It’s like, a decent 7/10 - take one of the Mid-Tier Assassins Creed games and give it a Harry Potter reskin, and there we go.

Sadly, the NPCs don't react for shit when you go into class or whatever in the full dark arts get up (this is my favorite outfit out of all them except the skull mask). Oh and no one seems to react when you use actual dark arts during the Crossed Wands portion of the game. I mean you would think that people would have a problem with forbidden spells being used right in Hogwarts but it's all whatever...
