Imagine being free from being hounded day and night to sell $4,000 machines that electrocute water; imagine your life with a full night's sleep because you didn't have to stay up all hours or wake up before dawn to attend sales meetings and trainings where you are made to feel like a garbage human for not selling any $4,000 water electrocutors. Imagine having that extra $4,000, or $8,000, or $12,000 per year you are currently spending on overpriced current generators to sell, and using that money on take out and vacations.

Finally a close up of the horrid giant photo that Robyn has in her living room.

Those birth pictures are horrifying. Why would she want to be constantly reminded of her botched free birthing experience? I mean as full of shit as she is, she must know deep inside her egotistic attempts at being "a beautiful birthing goddess" (yup, that's from the infamous birth story) have resulted in what Luna is today.

Someone splice in the house pics to this masturbatory vid.
Robyn can do anything… except organize and clean the house, copy paste properly, (seriously girlfriend, please do a quick proofread before you hit post if you’re trying to flog high end stuff, Healy gives you a template you just have to not mess it up!) etc etc you know the rest.

Robyn has been linking to home births in IG stories today to prove they are safer then hospital even for breech babies.

Putting up photos of the home birth that destroyed her child's brain, obviously carefully curating photos and clips so that Luna seems like she's focusing on something and not essentially brain dead, deleting then changing the original birth story to make it sound like a genetic/mystery affliction, the fact that she didn't notice that her newborn was starving and dying, etc. etc.: How much more interesting (and harrowing) would all of this be if Robyn was just a normal idiot who screwed up and was now tragically coping in disturbing ways? I could see a once normal mother slowly going insane realizing what she'd done, becoming more and more delusional in order to protect herself from the horrible truth.

But Robyn is just....like this. The only thing she's protecting is her own self-image. And her narcissism was already there to begin with. It's what caused the whole tragedy.

I know I'm stating the obvious but holy shit I still can't believe she hides the fact that she caused the brain damage. She knows it, and hides it, and keeps advocating for people to do what she did, instead of warning them. People chimp out about kiwifarms killing people but here's yet another KF subject who might actually have a body count.

Her IG midwife did. She had been sued for wrongful death of a child she helped in a home birth before Robyn even used her and Robyn knew of it.

I think about this a lot. Pretty sure most of us evil murderous farmers would have an abundance of sympathy for a woman who fell too hard into this crunchy bullshit, made an awful mistake that cost her daughter's life because of it, got caught up in a MLM in her ensuing desperation, but then used her platform to warn other women. But no, Robyn doubles down. She learned nothing with Luna, she risked it again with Atlas, and she encourages others to do the same. The entire point of Robyn's social media after all this is still to promote this shit as the optimal way to live. This makes her one of the worst cows IMO.

Absolutely agree, this makes her sociopathic. She KNOWS that she created the monster that is Luna, but her absolute arrogant attitude against allopathic medicine and her woo bullshit threatens so many other babies with the shit she advocates. I want to shake her enough to give her a TBI.

Robyn could be helping women and children avoid her catastrophic outcome but that would be too much Narc injury to acknowledge ROBYN’s sacred womb photoshoot wasn’t perfect.
In England there’s this woman, don’t know if she’s a reality ‘star’ or what, Lauren Goodger, last year she had a home birth go bad and was rushed to the hospital and the baby died from the cord being wrapped around her neck. So after a couple days that part of the story was completely whitewashed and only mentioned how doctors in hospital fought to save her baby.
I don’t know if there’s lawsuits pending or what, but it got me wondering why nobody mentioned how this could have been prevented. If it was me I’d be telling everybody not to risk home births.
By the way this was Lauren’s second baby.
Things can go badly no matter if it’s your first or third home birth.

(And her boyfriend beat the hell out of her after the baby’s funeral for some reason so there’s some crazy gossip for you).

I know in the UK homebirths are also more common because midwives have to actually go to medical school and are more or less nurses that specialize in delivering babies (plus doctors stop by to check on mom/baby afterwards). That said, I would think if the cord was wrapped around the neck that would've been detected by the midwife or otherwise dealt with by her.

Or did she not use a trained midwife and decided to wing it in a kiddie pool with crystals like Robyn?

Lauren has given different versions, starting with it was a perfect pregnancy and birth with no complications and she doesn’t know why the baby died. Next she said ten doctors fought to save the baby. She’s also said she started labor, called the doula to assist her at home, and this woman couldn’t find a heartbeat with her stethoscope so she called an ambulance.
Lauren says she had a home birth with her first baby that took seven hours with no problems.
So I can’t find any info on how long she labored at home, with only a doula, or when the baby died. No info on prenatal care, but there’s no indication in the press that there were any worries, and Lauren was sharing everything with Hello mag back then.
She says she was breastfeeding her first daughter and that started the labor, not sure if that means anything.

Back to Robyn, it makes me wonder if Luna’s heartbeat was being checked at all during the three-day marathon labor sesh, certainly they should have noticed it rising and falling in distress. These are the types of things Robyn could be talking about that would be helpful for other women, as opposed to zoom vibe meetings.
(TMI in the hospital with my first babby, after 9 hours labor, her heartbeat started acting up, that’s when they got the giant salad tongs and yanked my girl out of there thank god).

She showed pictures on her deleted birth story of them checking it with a regular old stethescope, possibly a fetoscope.

Lunas heartbeat and stuff would have been noticed at a hospital. But then Robyn would need an icky c section and we cant have that!

I feel like a complete fucking dipshit asking this but are midwives NOT medically trained in the U.S? Or is this simply a matter of random women labelling themselves as midwives?
They do not have to be there is no licensing required in most states. But Robyn takes it a step further what she calls midwifes are ususally random home birthing moms she finds on IG.

Ah so it sounds like she only had a doula, not a midwife. She must be the UK reality show equivalent of Globyn then, wtf.

There are no benefits to home births. None. Everything these women want can be done (within reason) at a hospital, with the added benefit of doctors being on standby should something go wrong. Even intermittent fetal monitoring (once every fifteen minutes in active labor) would have provided proof of Luna’s struggle in the womb. Her heart tones must have been down for quite some time to do such catastrophic damage to the brain. The egos on these women who would risk the well being of their babies to brag on social media bewilders and upsets me to no end (I am a labor and delivery nurse).
