Other than financing their kids and the occasional vacation (I hear about them taking them a lot less frequently than UMC in-tact couples with high school & college-aged kids and uninterrupted high-level work history that I know), what else? Jeannette's clearly not going to most expensive salon in town to get her hair done weekly. They don't need loans for anything...they're just amassing assets - and a couple extra hundred thousand dollars a season for X seasons doesn't hurt at all.

Yup… Just because you don’t act like a nigger and buy a huge mansion the minute you get some money, doesn’t mean you don’t have any.

They may be awful parents, but at least they’re good at managing their finances.

Sure they could have bought something way bigger and nicer a decade ago when they were starting to have some real cash, but why would they?

The kids were 4-5 years away from moving out anyways then, and the house was close to paid off.

The appearance fees alone for a season of Jazz is hundreds of thousands of dollars. And that’s without counting Greg’s lawyer jewgold, their charitable income and book sales, etc.

These guys are millionaires. (No, not huge multi millionaires, but still.)

Jeanette at one point said there were A LOT of doctors in the family, but the sex therapist in the family apparently carried more weight with her.

She's also said certain members of the family didn't approve, so they've been ostracized for their "negativity."

Re: JoJo/Jaclyn's body hair, I'm "ethnic" and was more hirsute than the norm after puberty...but not on my back. That would be because he's a man.

Harnaam Kaur is a great example of this. She's got a huge beard, but even with it if you look at her face, you still see "female".

Her natural beard ends up looking more like a costume or something because you can see her soft features.

That said, there are other bearded women who look a bit more like men than Kaur, but not really, they look like "trans men" because their hormones are all fucked up.

To clarify, this is his friend Jojo who said this. Jojo is latino, and don't get me wrong, I've met a hairier-than-average Latina. But it's such a funny, shallow thought. Like, by making this comparison he is inherently admitting the difference between himself and a natal woman. But instead of reaching the conclusion that people are simply different, he somehow thinks this is reinforcement of his imagined womanhood.

You realize Her Terfness is one of the wealthiest people on the planet right? Thats a hell of a standard to be called "rich". Jazzs family are millionaires. They put 4kids through college and the mom doesnt work. The dad is a literal jewish lawyer in florida doing high status work. They are wealthy.

By that logic the age of consent should either be 14 for females, or 22 for males. Or maybe 16 for females and 20 for males at the same time. Or maybe im missing the point the article was making and girls can consent at 11 and boys at 15? Was this article in the NAMBLA quarterly, per chance?

Regardless, socialization plays a much bigger part than the hippocampus i would think. Is there a noticeable difference in the overall maturity levels between all girl schools and all boys schools of the same age?

Either way, Jazz will never mature i dont think, at least not with his mother in the picture. I think he would have a shot at maturing if he left the family to make his own way. He would never mature sexually, but maybe he could pass as an asexual independent adult at some point.

They indulge in lavish custom mansions that they can't move out of because no one they can't find any buyers. The houses are expensive as hell and made explicitly to the initial owner's tastes.

Jazz's parents have already completely fucked him over physically, psychologically, and emotionally. At least they haven't completely fucked him over financially. Yet.

The real reason is bc a huge portion of them are niggas from the hood, and so they flex all their money away and they dont have anyone around them who is good with money or who has ever built wealth; there is no word for "accountant" in ebonics. On top of, depending on the sport they dont even have to go to college, and even the ones that do dont have to actually do any work, so even if they had multiple courses on how to manage money, it wouldnt really do any good.

Id be interested in seeing the statistics on athletes who end up broke, separated by race.

But I believe the biggest reason for boys’ classroom struggles is simply that male brains develop more slowly than female brains—or at least those parts of the brain that enable success in the classroom. The gaps in brain development are clearly visible around the age of 5, and they persist through elementary and middle school. (As Margaret Mead wrote of a classroom of middle schoolers: “You’d think you were in a group of very young women and little boys.”)

The brain-development trajectories of boys and girls diverge further, and most dramatically, as adolescence progresses—with the widest gaps around the age of 16 or 17. I hardly need to say that these are crucial years for educational achievement.

Adolescents are wired in a way that makes it hard to make good choices. Other relevant centers of the brain follow suit. The cerebellum, for example, plays a role in “emotional, cognitive, and regulatory capacities,” according to Gokcen Akyurek, an expert on executive functioning at Hacettepe University, in Turkey. It reaches full size at the age of 11 for girls, but not until age 15 for boys. Similarly, there are sex differences linked to the timing of puberty in the development of the hippocampus, a part of the brain that contributes to memory and learning.

Ezra is Bob The Drag Queen's throuple partner except they've been having an incredibly messy breakup. Like a highly visible, highly unpleasant breakup. More so than even normally messy people (which is what drag queens are). There appears to be an expectation to take sides amongst their friends, Bob vs Ezra.

Anyway, Bob is really good mates with Peppermint, so Sander (no doubt unthinkingly liking a "trans rights!" post) is actually highly contentious. I doubt we'll see anything but I'm willing to wager Peppermint will give him a bit of shit for this.
