My husband pointed out something (that I didn't catch until he rewound it) when Misty and Amanda "found Tammy's place robbed".

I get that saying "they took the fridge" could have still been the truth considering she had a minifridge and they worded it poorly, but how do they explain a huge, pristine TV/monitor screen just left there like that? I'm 100% on the side of people saying this was filmed while her shit was getting moved and it's all fake and gay. Zero chance Tamham would react the way she did over her place getting robbed, especially when she was still acting the way she was towards Amy and her therapist. (I get her not wanting to talk about sensitive things for a TV show, but she was treating that shrink like shit while said shrink was being reasonable and patient with her, unlike that other quack bitch.)

It's one thing to stage events and film their reactions and interactions, but this is some fake ass almond non-milk. Give us our fucking cows back if you're just going to dump the milk in the field and sell us almond juice.

I hope not. In last weeks episode, Amy was mentioning potty training while Gage was rummaging through a bathroom cabinet with nary a safety lock in sight, and none on the toilet either. You don’t have to be a genius to raise a child but this is the woman who was sent to the er twice while pregnant because she overindulged in food. And she was wearing a dexcom monitor on her arm in the ep where she visits the ob, so obvious she has diabetes whether it was gestational or not.

Amy is T2D and has been for a very long time. Interestingly T2D is almost always put into remission by RNY Gastric Bypass….the surgery she had. So much so that it is being touted as the most cost effective and best treatment available for T2D. Yet here Amy is so affected that she’s having 24/7 monitoring which in most countries is only available via prescription to T1Ds

How sad that little Gage and Glenn are going to lose their mother before they graduate high school, and then they're going to have the awful cesspool of obese hillbillies that are the rest of the Slatons as family instead. Even if Amy is still alive in 18 years from now, she's definitely going to be completely immobile and will rely on others for her care like an elderly person. That's just one of the myriad of reasons why she should never have had children. I feel bad for those babies, they didn't ask to be born into the awful world of the Slatons.

Amy is many things, but I never thought of her as a fake horror fan. A surface-level fan, sure, but one who at minimum knew her theatrical releases of the main big franchises.

So when she said in the episode that Glenn was a horror name, I immediately thought 'Oh, she likes Chucky so it's probably Glen from Seed of Chucky/the Chucky TV series'. But no. She goes on to mention it's Glen from Friday the 13th. I'm a pretty huge horror sperg so I immediately scanned my mental rolodex for Glens in the F13 franchise and came up empty-handed. So I googled out of sheer curiosity, because I know the franchise autistically well. No Glens.

Then it hit me. The most famous Glen (other than from the Chucky franchise) in horror franchises is Johnny Depp's character from the original Nightmare on Elm Street. It has to be who she's talking about.

I guess that serves me right for giving Amy the benefit of the doubt. The episode confirmed she got Gage from the movie version of Pet Sematary, which I already assumed. But it begs the question I've had for a while: which Pet Sematary film. The one where Gage is run over a truck, or the other one?

When I saw a scene in their previous home with that stretch of unfenced road outside their house where a huge truck sped by I was praying that Gage wouldn't live up to his namesake. Good thing they moved.

She said it’s Glenn from The Walking Dead. Which means both of her kids are named after characters who died horrifically. Weird choice, but alrighty.

I am sure that Amy has T2D. I would be surprised if it is gestational cause tbh she didnt look pregnant.
You generally have to monitor T1D but many with T2D also have these monitors especially if they are treated with insulin. You need to adjust the dose of insulin based on your blood sogar levels. Side effect of too much insulin is low blood glucise calles hypoglycemia which can be fatal.
Due to her pregnancy I highly suspect that Amy is on insulin cause it is simply the safest.
In my country many people have this kind of monitor simply because it us nicer than the prick into the finger.

PS I wanted to check all diabetes meds for pregnancy safety but I dont know the vrand names and one has a really nice data bank about drug toxicity in pregnancy

Am I high? I could have sworn she said they were both horror movie names and one was from Pet Sematary and the other was Friday the 13th. I wasn't giving it my full attention but it piqued my interest when she mentioned horror movie names. At least that Glenn is spelled the same, so it makes sense.

Glenn dies awfully in both the show and the comic, so...yeah. Not the best namesake for the kid. It was weird as a comic reader to get to that part of the show and have them change Glenn's death so it was Abraham who Negan kills.

She looks terrible. Her face is beetroot red. I think I could have walked past her and not recognised her in the absence of either another Slaton or a TLC crew.

I don’t believe that’s a trach (and Tammy’s trach has definitely been removed. It looks more like your bog standard oxygen tube that goes under the nose, wraps around your ears and then is tightened under the chin.

Yikes, how short is she? Either the guy kneeling next to her is a giant or she's 4'-something. Her legs look terrible and yeah, her face is awfully red. She looks like she's struggling.
