The Farmers that dislike the cat-sperging, I get it, but I do think it’s been interesting. Even for long-term viewers of Chantal, I think it’s been enlightening.
She really is devoid of empathy and love and sentimentality to a degree that is astounding. In the last few weeks alone she’s dropped everything that has been her life for years with no emotion at all.

She also casually mentioned that ‘she doesn’t know what will become of Grams’. She might take her. Or she might not. She might stay with Smee. (Clearly not a priority in her mind, then)

She‘s positively gleeful, the night before parting with her pets and it’s only the constant nagging of the VIBs that forces her to acknowledge that her actions affect others. She really is surprised that they’ll be sad and she can’t feign the ‘right’ emotions, even though she eventually tries to. She doesn’t even get round to trying for ages, using many justifications for her completely un-relatable mood and behaviour. She’s that far removed that she simply doesn’t understand that emotion ‘should’ be winning over logic and that she ‘should’ be sad. Watch her slowly realise that she should be sad and then try to do it on camera. Manipulation failed.

I mean, I guess it really isn’t anything we didn’t know before. But it has been a glimpse into her cold, dark soul. She’s selfish, impulsive and stupid. Also fat. Also she lies.
Nothing new. Just a beautiful demonstration of how deep it runs.

My issue with the cat sperging is it is just the same thing being said over and over again by a multitude of different accounts.

It's hard enough keeping up with this thread without every third comment being about how Chantel mistreats her cats.

It doesn't matter if she brushes it off to the viewers. Regardless of what she says, it is gonna eat away at all of her insecurities. And when she is feeling insecure, she goes absolutely bananas. Somehow, she has never been given the tools to deal with insecurity in a way more adult than that of a toddler. If she decides to make an issue of it "behind the scenes" with her Arabian Prince, she runs the risk of pissing him off. At some point, he may decide that it is simply not worth the slim chance of getting to Canada if he has to deal with her tantrums.

This raises three possibilities. The return trip might be called off (which might save Peetz' ass at the very last minute, unless they both still have to move). The return trip is not called off, but the dynamic between them will be changed, and they won't get along like last time. Or, he finally ghosts her, and she goes to Kuwait anyway to confront him. All three of these have potential.

Most normal people could probably handle a crisis like this. A lot of people can accept their partners were involved with other people before becoming involved with them. Chantal is not that type. And the fact that this woman does not appear to be fat and gross is gonna bother her too.

So now we know what the dweeb has been winking at all along, lol.
