She doesn't eat for nutrition. She eats to relieve the addiction. That's why she doesn't want to wait. Junkies aren't going to do more than the absolute minimum for their fix. That's fine if someone isn't morbidly obese, with a raging sugar addiction. The issue with Tammy is that she inhales almost nothing but simple carbs, and it's all soft. Then she binges on insane amounts of ice cream and pastries. If she's to have any hope of recovery she needs to learn to *eat* her calories from actual whole food, with a focus on protein and fibre, not suck back sweet sludge like a Strasbourg goose.
There also seems to be secondary issue in common with a lot of these extremely morbidly obese people that they can't stand to take the time to prepare food, eat on a regular schedule, wait to eat, or to eat at a reasonable pace. It all has to be "convenient", instantly available at random times, and something they can scull back without paying attention so they can keep cramming in more. The counter to that is to take time to actually prepare nutritious food that takes some effort to make, to eat at a set time, and to take time while eating so that satiety cues have a chance to register. None of that is assisted by drinking meal replacements. You're also assuming they don't spend all day sleeping or playing video games because they're unemployable apart from filming their antics for Youtube. Tammy is struggling to leave her apartment and walk for half an hour more than once every two weeks.
Regular people metrics don't apply to these lolcows in any dimension, but it seems like smoothies (or those sugary iced coffee things) are a particular bane for the morbidly obese.
