Jewwario was seen as a big brother. Most CA producers were in their 20's and Justin was like 40. His content wasn't raunchy or vulgar. He seemed like a nice guy. He had one video where he tearfully told his viewers that each and every one of them was special just the way they were.

I also remember seeing a NES Pat video where Pat (paraphrasing) was like, "Yeah, Justin was a rapist. Everyone knew it. You would see him at a con and he was just binging a haram of girls to his room. His wife didn't like it and that probably was a major contributing factor in washing his mouth out with a shotgun."

Funny how so many producers had a Wario hat as a tribute in their videos and when the rape allegations came out they switched the narrative to, "I barely even knew him."

Not sure how digitized Canada is, but in many countries it's possible to identify yourself at the bank and get a digital box, which you can in turn use to log into the banks website, download an identification app to your phone and then use that to pay bills etc.

If warty has a setup like that, she would have almost certainly have no idea where that box is now. So she would need to go to the bank in person.

Makes sense to me. For years Noah has been such a miserable sack of shit that of course he doesn't even produce enough content to regularly laugh at. He is nearly worthless, even as a lolcow. By comparison, it's more interesting to discuss people who had even a marginal interaction with him instead.
It really is baffling to me how there are still people who continue to give him money or foster goodwill towards him online, considering how little he has ever acknowledged them or contributed to society in the last several years. Their hope and expectations of him are very much misplaced. There will never be a "Year Of The Spoony", because there is no Spoony anymore. Spoony has been dead, only Noah Antwiler is left, as a dilapidated husk of a human.

I get that, but believe it or not there are still a number of people who unironically believe he will get better. Just look on the Spoony subreddit or the YouTube comments for the "Conversations With Curtis" interview that Noah had, and you will see what I mean. I will never understand why they place such hope and faith in a wretch like Spoony.

Thats always been the weird gray line of Justins life (not to turn this into a Justin thread), but its hard to really know who actually knew and who was taken off guard just like the rest of the world. Linkara probably didnt know since I dont think they were close, Ellis was so distant from the channel at that point I dont think she knew, the people who would know would have been like Brad and Doug. Spoony I feel was so close to the situation that them not knowing would be a statistical improbability.

Many only knew him by seeing him once a year at the anniversary specials, but they would never pass up a chance for some attention by grave standing.

At least he tried to help Noah though that was more him and Lewis laughing at the guy having an emotional break down.

It was funny to watch so many of them act like Justin was their best friend only to turn around later and say they barely knew him when the allegations came out.

It’s funny that the first time I ever heard about JewPedo was when Doug made his tribute video where his eyes were red, looked like he had been recently crying and his voice was a little shaky.

Got to the first clip in Doug’s video showing this late 30s/early 40s guy wearing a Wario hat, driving a tiny little go kart replica and looking like Tom Cullen from The Stand. No joke my first thought was “oh he’s some mentally challenged guy Doug must have known that died. That sucks”

I wasn’t entirely wrong

JewWario was too much of a weeb to catch on. His whole schtick was, "I play obscure Japanese games!"

Back in the day I would go to TGWTG and watch Doug, then Spoony, then Brad, and Linkara. Maybe Phelous if there was a new one. Checked to see if there was a new Until We Win up. Never watched JewWario until after he died except the movies.

I also put Bennet on in the background once in a while but didn't really watch 'cuz I don't watch anime. Only thing I really remember was a guy had grenades attached to his balls or something. I started watching when the AVGN had a fued with Doug, so not from the start. I do remember Spoony promoting Brad before TGWTG, it was some Bigfoot movie. I remember before Linkra was a thing.

Only reason I know of JW is because of.. sigh, I like Marzgurl's Land Before Time reviews. That quickly fell apart. I liked NC for a few years, then man it got old. I watched Spoony from the beginning though, and he was usually watchable except for later Wrestle Wrestle and anything with April in it.

I could never ever stand Linkara or the rest. I remember seeing Kickassia when it was new and thinking 'isn't this supposed to be ok? Aren't these kinda popular now?' and was just so appalled and bored. The CA drama turned out to be way more interesting than any of their content after #CTC.

Yeah, I get that the original idea was to get as much talent as possible because they wanted to be an alternative to Youtube, but that site was just too bloated with people.

At CA's peak, I watched Doug, Lindsay, Spoony, and once in a while I would watch a LordKat Until We Win Video...and that was about it.
