Benzos are more dangerous to stop using if you're addicted to them than to take in excess. You can actually have grand mal seizures and die from benzo withdrawal, something that rarely occurs with other drug withdrawals, even notoriously unpleasant ones like going cold turkey from smack.

Quite right. I don't know if they still do, but they used to put people on obscenely high daily doses of the stuff, and then it got a terrible reputation because you couldn't ever stop or the withdrawals were potentially fatal.

Generally, .25 or .5 of a mg prn will knock back a panic attack; they'd put people on 6mg a day every day for years at a time.

What I don't understand is if someone like this is really being "targeted" by anyone, why post a photo of yourself wearing a CPAP mask knowing it would look retarded anyway?

Oppression points are adding up and Nora will be crying suicide more times than Chloe Sagal has done in the past year if she keeps this up.

Since I bet you are reading this Nora, and I assume you spend most of your time reading Twitter and this thread on mobile, put a shortcut to your parent's telephone on your smartphone or whatever if you ever, EVER, think suicidal thoughts that you don't immediately post on your Twitter, and call and tell them you are not feeling well and need them with you, instead of directly saying you want to kill yourself. This way people that you trust will be on their way and they won't be alarmed.

But please everytime you hold a suicidal thought, post about it on Twitter cuz then we know that you are bullshitting. Most of the time, actual suicidal people don't waste their time saying "tw suicide" on social media.
