The potter adults who get upset that they pick kids for the wand show before the decked out 1000 dollars of cosplaying adults do are pretty entertaining.
They have a show in the wand shop where a person gets "chosen" by a wand in a reenactment of the scene in Harry Potter. SOP for them is kids in costume get picked first, then kids, then adults in costumes. So the Potter adults try to "make sure" there are no kifs when they go in. Oh also the wand aint free. Its 80 bucks and is used to control things in the Harry Potter land.
That said Potter adults are more manageable. They wear costumes that let you know what your dealing up front and stay contained to specific parts of the Universal parks. And honestly they add to the atmosphere in the areas they do stay in. They also dont typically buy up the merch like assholes either and dont hit the rides as hard.
Disney adults on tiktok somehow have even more exaggerated facial expressions and movements than other tiktokers. That plus tiktok editing makes it even more uncomfortable to look at.
Alright what would you consider qualifying disney adults? I lean towards just adults how blog, tweet, film themselves going to disney land/word several times a year and talk about "magical" it is.
But if your open to more kinds, there's a small rabbit hole of people how talk about the history/news of the parks and company.
Biggest one on the list is Defunctland (https://www.youtube.com/@Defunctland), They started off talking about the history of defunct rides and attractions at the disney parks and while they've later venture out to other topics in other amusement parks and forms of media, they still occasionally make hour long videos about Disney stuff like the almost 3rd park in Virginia, the history of the disney channel theme, and whether or not fastpass was shit.
I can make a quick list of people who kind of fall in the same vein and let other people decide if they should be included. I will admit to watching one or two so I might be biased, but while some are definitely be closer to being disney adults then others, IMO most kind of avoid it on the ground of making videos that are more detailed then random blogs about how great disney is and talk about other stuff outside of the rat house half the time
Blogs like Parkeology, Mesa Verde Times, Passports to Dreams Old And New, Long Forgotten (about the Haunted Mansion), even a blog devoted to Tower of Terror (which is no longer even online), Disney & More and Leonard Kinsey's The Dark Side of Disney book.
The Passport to Dreams Old and New archives are still a great read for anyone interested in the history of Disney parks. It also reveals another side of adult Disney fandom: all of the weird sexual deviants. Chris "FoxxFur" Nolte, the author of Passport to Dreams, is an obese, trooned out furry/brony. He actually worked at Disney World at some point but left to spend much of the past decade and a half writing for his (interesting) Disney blog and drawing for his (horrifying) DA and FA accounts. His specialty is "tf" with a side of pregnancy.
For example, there's this lovely image of a girl(?) transforming into a pregnant Figment the purple dragon (from a ride at Epcot):
Adam Hattan is another worthwhile Britbong addition to the list.
Adam is a 30 something year old author of 4 books based entirely around visiting the Disney Parks and regularly Vlogs his countless number of trips per year to the parks, usually with his equally as flamboyant/gay friends. I believe he previously worked at Epcot as well during his much younger years which started this all off, though of recent he has purchased Disney Vacation Club membership, with prices ranging from $30,000 - $70,000 depending on hotel.

Offhand Disney is 1000 percent a disney adult, but he is also hyper self aware so cowness is inhibited. But any single man who goes to Disney conventions qualifies for sure.
Poseidon Entertainment is a more general theme park dude who lives in Orlando channel and he spends most of his time complaining about how Disney is awful now. He has cow potential with how he calls his videos "essays" but he does go into some decent history lesson stuff. I dont think he qualifies as Disney adult because he talks about Universal just as much and talks about Seaworld/Busch Gardens and even Six Flags.
Expedition and Yesterworld seem more like infotainment style channels. And they do non Disney stuff.
Dsny newscast and its ilk is interesting. I dont think having a channel to cover nerd news makes you a disney adult perse, as long as you dont swallow the bullshit.
We really need to nail down the definitions of Disney adults.
Being a nerd that likes to go to Disney and enjoys thing while you are there isnt enough i think.
Maybe more appropriate for the consooming thread but tangentially related: the Mickey Ears. They’re like funko pops for Disney adult women, usually cheap plastic crap to collect.
I kind of want to go on search for specifically shitty Disney tattoos now.

A Disney adult is a consoomer obsessed with Disney specifically. Unfortunately, who exactly is a consoomer cannot be easily pinned down either. It is rather an ‘I know it when I see it’ phenomenon.
This was unbearable to watch. In the Soviet Union and later in post-Soviet countries, utrennik is a morning holiday celebration for children, most often for New Year. It customarily consists of a short play, some dances and games, and then a dispensation of gifts. This wand acquisition performance is so clearly meant for children that seeing an adult participate in it is as bizarre as seeing an adult stand in a queue to receive a packet of candies and a box of crayons from Ded Moroz and Snegurochka.
There's this guy that popped up on my feed a few years back that obsessively collects outdated media like VHS and DVD. I've posted him in the ConSOOMer thread a few times but he falls under this category as well. He will frequently go down to Disney World and other theme parks with women who aren't his wife. He also hangs around this guy who has "The World's Biggest Muppet Collection" and gets off to finding rare Sesame Street kids books in thrift stores.

That's why I hesitate to call them Disney adults since to me most of them come off as theme park nerds or obsessed with imagineering specifically which is why I think a few are souring on Disney and becoming universal shills because they have been hiring a lot of the imagineers Chapek and Iger have been firing.
Yeah I used to be a Disney Kid back in the 2000s. Went there many times over and did all the rides, it's was a lot cheaper back then that's for sure and the perks you got were much better, probably due to 9/11 and then the Recession. But I never made it my whole life like some of these fanatics. It's what happens when you don't believe in God. You have to find something to fill that void and for these people it's Disney. Not saying all of the Disney fanatics are Atheists I am sure many of them believe in some form of Religion but it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of these Disney Fanatics are the Reddit-tier atheists who go on about how theres No God but then act like Walt Disney is a reincarnation of Jesus or some shit like that.
A compilation from a Defunctland video of Disney adults explaining how to minmax the park's fastpass system. Makes me wonder how much worse these people make the experience for normal people who just want to take their family on vacation without making spreadsheets.
I'm surprised they even let solo adults into sesame place. It's a toddler park, a 9 year old would feel out of place there
Edit: Forgot to add this. Disney's Splash Mountain, a pretty standard log flume ride from what I can tell, closed recently for rebranding (because it was racist somehow). The Disney adults waited 4 hours to ride it on closing day. Some schemers also bottled water from the ride and listed it on ebay, but it's not clear if any actually sold.
Massive crowds swarmed Disney World as Splash Mountain's final operating day saw lines approaching four hours. The ride gets its 'Princess and the Frog' makeover in 2024.
Okay Defunctland is actually a really great channel and that was a great documentary. Disney isn’t the only thing he talks about. I find myself liking his DefunctTV series possibly the most.
Allow me to introduce you to family vlogger/disneycow Jesssfam...
[MEDIA/]=youtubeumq8zgKqCrY[/MEDIA]
I discovered this terrible mother through a channel that covers family channel lolcows named Dad Challenge Podcast. He covers other exploitative family channels like Dougherty Dozen.
Jessfam has taken her kids to three disney vacations during school days since August. She exploits her oldest daughter's sexuality as seen in the video above and overall she is a terrible person. Check out the Dougherty thread and Dad Challenge Podcast for other family vlog cows.
Most good children's films aren't "Just for kids" because they include things for the parents to enjoy as well. It's supposed to be a family activity, something to be enjoyed with children. That's the thing, though, the whole reason you're supposed to be watching in the first place is that you're watching as a family. A lot of films are always going to be children first. Even as someone who enjoys animation as an art form myself as an adult, I acknowledge most of these things are primarily for children.
