I don't know. It just seems weird to me to make a big deal about something that's so far removed from vtuber/anime culture. Are vtubers and vtuber fans just normies?

So this was discovered yesterday, the list of exhibits at Anime Expo have been unveiled and there's only one vtuber group there.

Last year fishman had Phase Connect there in a joint booth with Tsunderia, this year they're nowhere to be seen. So much for getting more exposure.

The fact only vshojo are there should make people wonder if they have paid Anime Expo off to be the only vtuber participant allowed there?

As usual, VShojo can do nothing wrong! They really do want to portray that they are the only western vtuber group worth promoting.

Why should that be peoples question lol people get weirdly conspiratorial about Vshojo with stuff like this (like those stream awards that only had Vshojo talent that it turned out was because nobody entered any holos or nijis.

Want a realistic take instead? At least as far as holo is concerned they already have one big event in LA this summer.

Beyond that, AX's website isn't set in stone. Just because some other companies aren't on there right now doesn't mean they might not get announced later. Holo didn't announce they were going to be there until June last year.

I'm with Khyo on this. His content is clear fair use, and from how he explains, only his videos talking about Niji drama got hit; all his news vids were left unstruck. So this is Nijisanji abusing the copyright system to get in hide content that is negative about them, and that shit just sticks in my craw.

Especially since Kson is a well known avowed Yakuza fan. You'd think that Nyanners would encourage Sega to use Kson instead for that reason. Or at least put in a good word. Like "Hey, we got this other talent in our company that is a HUGE fan of the series. Like she talks about it all the time. She might even make a good spokesperson!" I mean, they've already used Korone as a spokesperson for Sonic, more or less. Kson seems like she'd make far more sense to represent Yakuza.
