I wonder: had he controlled his mouth for just a bit longer, hidden his arrogance , and been a brave, empowered, oppressed leftist who shitted on the right, Singaporean or American , could he have been seen a hero rather this sorry pedo? Might have been even a breadtuber.

he's not completely out of the woods:
As a consequence of his actions, he is now required to be listed on the sex offender registry in the United States and faces potential deportation, as his asylum status could be revoked. Judge Carol Howard had advised Yee during his sentencing that pleading guilty to these charges could lead to deportation, denial of admission to the US, or denial of naturalization as a US citizen in the future. These convictions could also negatively impact his ability to secure housing, employment, and various licenses, including a driver’s license.

Amos is also wanted in his home country due to dodging mandatory military service right?
and if they deport him, he will have to face those crimes as well

Yes, and because of his age he's still liable to serve out his military service, so if he comes back he gets sent to prison and still has to serve the 2 years after that. I'm not sure if he gets sent to military prison if he has technically not enlisted yet because life there would be tougher than if he goes to a normal prison.

it weirds me out how they released him on parole
in many 1st world countries, they will just deport people quarter or half way through their sentence to save time and money
i think it may be that he has to first officially/formally have his asylum status revoked before anything can happen legally, considering this line-
"As a consequence of his actions, he is now required to be listed on the sex offender registry in the United States and faces potential deportation, as his asylum status could be revoked."

I asked on the thread last March what the chances of him being paroled in 2023 were and apparently they were quite good.
So the only thing that remains to be determined is his status in the US. Either way his chances of employment there or in Singapore are probably none existent and there’s certainly no hope for a YouTube comeback. I for one look forward to hearing about how this man is homeless and hungry.

I’ve looked up a few things regarding conscription in Singapore but it seems like dodging his service could potentially get him anything up to two years in jail and / or a $5K to $10K fine.
What I couldn’t find is if his conviction in America for crimes involving children could possibly exempt him from service in some manner. Often people sentenced for dodging the draft are made to do military service but are given the bitch work like cooking for the other conscripts.
Something else that’s shown is conscripts had the option of things like the coast guard or police but all things considered there’s no way he’d be allowed to do either of those now.

Yeah he's definitely going to prison for dodging his military service.

He's almost definitely going to be sent to do some meaningless job in the army like a clerk or storeman or something if he's deported back here, I can't imagine anyone wanting him in a combat unit or anything like that and risking him going all Private Pyle lol.

I know Singapore has a reputation for executing drug traffickers and all that shit and obviously there's the schadenfreude factor in wanting to see him tortured and all that but realistically speaking no one's going to want to have to handle someone "high profile" like him.

The general consensus amongst locals here is that it's better he remains America's problem anyway

to them I say:

fuck off we're full.

Yeah I know man, it's fucking embarrassing that we sent that shitstain over there lol

I can only pity the one who has to take charge of him if he's deported because based on my experience in the army here no one wants the trouble of having to take in a normie AWOLee/deserter, much less someone high profile like Amos Yee. You probably can't even torture him that much for fears of him using social media and blowing everything out of proportion
