Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Saudi Arabia, architects of 9/11, a non-hostile country.

You can't make this stuff up.
The US and Saudi Arabia have been part of a mutual defense agreement since 1951, we have several active airbases around the country, they're our largest foreign military sales customer, we're their second largest trading partner, and they've worked with the US to capture terrorists and disrupt terror cells after 9/11. But sure, they directly supported the actions of a man who was expelled from the country, stripped of his citizenship, threatened to overthrow the government, and directly tied to the men who bombed the Al Khobar building in Riyadh. It's not like they're a very corrupt, rich country that embraced an incredibly fundamentalist form of Islam and is incredibly loose with their money as long as you claim to be a Sunni religious institution.

I say we give the Mongolians Davy Crockett nuke launchers
Leave Mongolia alone, now they are a democracy (sort off).

People seem to forget you need different equipment to be a global military vs a global military.
People forget that more important is to produce weapons than keep weapons.

ruzzia is just reusing junk from soviet-era, produced before 1991 and them just modded (mostly I think about tanks) with only a few new pieces like dronie-tronnie. They didn't get that stock of tanks will not recover without mass production and Uralwhatevername Industry didn't had enough power to built thousands of tanks yearly.

Ukraine also has this issue, but they are using some new (or at least: not so obsolete) toys from West. But they also have access to west power horse of MIC's.

Very funy, but it looks like after this war the population of T-xx's will be small. Preserve T-72's, they will be very few of them after 2025.

It's not like they're a very corrupt, rich country that embraced an incredibly fundamentalist form of Islam and is incredibly loose with their money as long as you claim to be a Sunni religious institution.
They are naive as politicains. Saudi house is a young dynasty in Arab terms (some time ago monarch of Oman or something refused to negotiate with their king due to that).

Saddly, they must learn on own mistakes ('ok, so we cannot fuck Yemen like Hedjaz'; 'ok, so we should don't give money to every idiot with beard'; 'ok,we cannot resolve all internal affairs with oney'). More saddly - this will cost blood of may people.

Where's the imagination in that? I say we give the Mongolians Davy Crockett nuke launchers and some Harleys (or Indians if they wanna be fancy) and tell them to have a fun time reclaiming their stolen land for the great Khan. Moscow can become like one of those city sized Bass Pro Shops but for Mongolian BBQ instead of fishing poles.
Mongolia? Why not recognise Chechnya, Tatarstan, Yakutia, Dagestan etc as sovereign states and honor their right to national sovereignty?

No matter who wins, somebody is going be left holding a very shitty bag regarding the former battlefields.

Thanks to how intense and drawn out this conflict has become, Unexploded Ordinance from dud artillery, mines, etc. are going to be a problem for years if not over a decade, UXOs from World War 2 in Europe are still discovered, not just in rural areas but in urban ones. I haven't looked into how many people died from UXOs thanks to WW2, but people dying or getting maimed in the Pacific Islands from WW2 UXOs still happens on a monthly basis.
Gets even better when you find out some kinds of artillery launched mines have been used in this war which means that those minefields are going to be completely unmarked fuckers, they weren't manually placed and noted down.

60 Bradleys have arrived in Germany on route to Ukraine.
article is in german, but here is a snippet:
The car transporter "Arc Integrity" with the tanks on board reached the Kaiserhafen in Bremerhaven last Friday. In addition to tanks, other military vehicles were also unloaded –, including off-road vehicles.

Deliveries are part of the US aid package for Ukrainian troops in the Russian War of Attack. Another ship with 90 tanks on board is expected next weekend in the port of Bremerhaven.
Not 100% sure if when they say tanks, if they are talking about APC/IFV or Tanks.
Could be a mistranslation or the author not knowing what they are talking about.

That's the thing that horrified me the most when I learned that not only do they have mines deployable by artillery shell, but that it's literally standard doctrine in the Russian army to line the flanks of an advance with such a thing.

Mines are horrible things and the damage they cause long after a conflict has finished is horrendous. I think the only way a mine should be acceptable in warfare should be if the minefields are mapped and detonate after a set time... but I don't even think that would be 100%.
There's a recent piece here on the state of use in Ukraine from Human Rights Watch

Funny that as we speak, Tatarstan is in the process of losing remainder of its autonomy, because Putin wants to be the only man in the entire "federation" with the title and power of president: https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-tatarstan-president-abolished/32240743.html
It was known in Russia as one of the more independent republics, but have grown increasingly eager to appease Moscow recently, it's going to follow the same fate as the rest of them.

*butthurt vodkanigger sounds*

Uncomfirmed and based on rumors, but I will try to provide surces ASAP (so no earlier than probably 9-11 PM Berlin time):

- Moldova closed their sky for at least several houres, but probably it will be extended (this is sure as fuck);
- unconfirmed claims about attemped but neutralized coup d'etat. It was tried to be orchestred by - what a suprise! - ruzzia (probably);
- unconfirmed rumours about unauthorized by serbian gov. involvement in this plot by few serbian citizens (not-so-probably);
- unconfirmed involvement of ukrainian and NATO inteligence to crush the plot (probably);
- unconfirmed endlosung der transnistriafrage will be in motion within weeks (I highly doubt, but I'm refering what rumors are in Berlin).

All of course connected with war in Ukraine (I hope we all have maps, right?).

This was reported on yesterday by the BBC

Fun fact, Moldova has a massive arms storage depot of old explosives which is apparently enough to make a nuke sized boom

Edit: airspace open again. Was closed for less than an hour. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.al...ne-live-russia-is-preparing-for-more-war-nato

I don't really dig the name of this thread. Ukraine is the business of Ukrainians first foremost. I just love to laugh at the misery of the Z army and the quality seeth of their Amernigger orbiters who want to step in the same footprints as their Trannifa Ancestors. (always wanted to type like a Vatnik)

NATO are looking into how to protect Non NATO countries such as Moldavia.
snippet from article:
The North Atlantic Alliance will analyze ways to supplement concrete assistance for the Republic of Moldova, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Georgia in the context of Russian threats, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Ziarul Financiar reported.

Moldovan president Maia Sandu confirmed on February 13 that the documents received from Ukraine's intelligence services converge with local evidence about Russian forces plotting to undermine the country's stability. Separately, the country is more frequently crossed by Russian missiles, while its defence capabilities are modest.
If shits get down in Moldavia, this conflict will get hotter and could spread

Why are you posting about Saudi Arabia in a thread about Ukraine?
Saudi Arabia and its connection to 9/11 is not relevant to the war at all.
If you want to talk about CIA involment in the war fine, but post then about it.

To stay on topic, there has been a lot of talks about how useful( or not) the Leopard I will be in the war.
Military Visuiel made a video about it 9 months ago:
bullet point:
  1. Good: It has decent mobility
  2. bad: its armour is not very strong.
  3. bad. Firepower is limted by its 105 mm gun, will have problem going through frontal armour on modern Russian tanks. Will still kick the shit out of IFV and APC.
  4. good: has modern fire control system which in combo with speed will let it do hit and run.
  5. good: has good ergonomics.
Conclusion by the videos author: The best use of the Leo 1 is in hit and run, ambushes and attack on more modern tanks from side and at close ranges.

Sorry. I'll try to keep future posts on topic and ignore retarded bait.

The elite 155th naval infantry lost almost an entire brigade and 130 units of equipment including 36 tanks as it stormed the mining town, trying to seize the high ground.

The Sun has posted cartoon graphics which is all the proof I need

Now Russia is losing 5000 troops per day, confirmed KIA, and have utterly lost Bakhmut in one of the most disastrous military operations in modern warfare, can Putin just accept reality?
